@Chastatch
Jesus is Lord. Everything you say and do, do for the glory of God.

@Primary_Pianist Read the Bible without the Mormon lense and you might find out why

If the resurrection's true, Christianity is true. If the resurrection's false, if He didn't rise from the dead, then Christianity's false.

I personally think it’s because LDS teaches the opposite of the real early Church established by Christ and the Apostles. LDS tells people to rely on “the still small voice” and “burning in the bosom”, or in other words personal promptings and feelings. But the early Church taught over and over that promptings and feeling often come from demons/Lucifer. Hence, LDS is a grooming field for demonic influence. And the devil wins either way. Those that stay in follow a distorted gospel with just enough good to keep them in (hence the common “at least I will have lived a good life” trope). While those that leave must either continue or overcome the same pattern of trusting their personal promptings and feelings; at the same time knowing they were deceived in the LDS church by their promptings and feelings. And personal promptings and feelings just happen to also be the atheists’ basis for their morals and ethics.
