When i raised serious concerns about the ATO bankruptcy of my family and the wind up of our businsses, my trustee told me only to get back to him if i "won the lotto". I recently found out that he has been deregistered and fled to the Netherlands as a "special adviser" by one of the big 4. There is a definite conflict between the ATO and the trustees in bankruptcy and the liquidators, especially when they are awarded big contracts by government. If you did that you would have ASIC taking you on for participating in non arms length transaction between family members

I am certain that this is what the tax office does. Just look at the ATO policy below wherr the outcome of a taxpayer objection is determined at the outset for 80% of the time

Called it an 'honest mistake' but intentional tax evasion. EY resigned. Churned a/c & books, duplicate tax returns etc. ATO were complicit making it go away.@tglawyers
