For transparency sake, I will be getting twitter blue here soon. I'm not happy, and I really don't care for the stupid blue check; however, I would like to provide more context per imagine when I conduct any analysis work moving forward to better detail key items.

@sentdefender This is what the 4th time the Iran navy has been completely wiped out ? We've destroyed 100% of their military since like week 2 and magically they are producing entire warships in a couple days? 🤷‍♂️

The Israel Defense Force has now confirmed and published footage of multiple strikes last night against the Iranian Navy’s Northern Fleet on the Caspian Sea, with aircraft carrying out airstrikes on pierside and underway naval vessels, as well as shipbuilding and repair facilities and command-and-control centers in Bandar Anzali, Northern Iran. During the strikes, Israeli military aircraft struck and sunk several naval vessel, including the Iranian Moudge-class frigate IRIS Deylaman (78).

Stealth is amazing, but it can't stop laser targeting, visual, and heat. Stealth is amazing for shock attacks, but if they established a pattern or just had units watching sectors with what appears to be a visual/laser ground system to guide the missile it's still as vulnerable as none stealth.

Oh….isn’t the F-35 supposed to be "stealth" and didn’t Trump say that Iran doesn’t have any defenses left?
Natasha Bertrand@NatashaBertrand

Breaking from @halbritz @OrenCNN : A US F-35 fighter jet made an emergency landing at US air base in the Middle East after it was struck by what is believed to be Iranian fire, according to two sources familiar with the matter. Capt. Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for US Central Command, said the fifth-generation stealth jet was “flying a combat mission over Iran” when it was forced to make an emergency landing. Hawkins said the aircraft landed safely, and the incident is under investigation “The aircraft landed safely, and the pilot is in stable condition,” Hawkins added. The incident would be the first time Iran has hit a US aircraft in the war started in late February. Both the US and Israel are flying F-35s in the conflict; the aircraft costs upwards of $100 million.

Not really. Coordinating with allies before a major engagement that can and obviously would impact them all is common. Receiving buy-in to help protect trade would have been smart before starting attacks, not after when you realize how badly you fucked up and lack the resources to handle it alone. NATO is a defensive coalition, not an offensive group you can just call on any moment.

@ParrotCapital @AJEnglish Yup. Not to mention in their view these nations are watching them get destroyed by an outsider and have allowed the aggressor to use their airspaces. There way tool to stop the war is economics via trade disruptions and oil/gas. They can't win traditionally.

We've already taken their refining island that handles 90% of their entire oil exports. The fields are worthless without the ability to refine the oil. So threatening to destroy a oil field that Trump clearly wants along with the oil processing facilities is hardly a threat. Iran can't use it, they can't benefit, and ya'll plan to take it over anyways. So really, what's to lose by in their opinion by continuing to attack everyone else? We have not offered any reasonable options. We've boxed the pray into a corner with zero exit paths. Of course they'll lash out. This aspect of war has been long established since ancient China.

Contrary to reports from Axios, U.S. President Donald J. Trump states that the United States “knew nothing” about Wednesday’s attack by Israel against Iran’s South Pars Gas Field, adding that “Qatar was in no way, shape, or form, involved with it, nor did it have any idea that it was going to happen. Unfortunately, Iran did not know this, or any of the pertinent facts pertaining to the South Pars attack, and unjustifiably and unfairly attacked a portion of Qatar's LNG Gas facility.” President Trump states following today’s attack by Israel and retaliatory strikes by Iran, “NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL pertaining to this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field unless Iran unwisely decides to attack a very innocent, in this case, Qatar - In which instance the United States of America, with or without the help or consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before.”

@ChazzonKe The very nature of these energy facilities means there are tons of exposed pipeline, vents, power generators, electrical substations, etc. You'd have to have extensive anti-drone and anti-missile defense systems around them to stand a chance, but even that would be a big ask.

Yup. It's one thing to be ready on military bases (Which they still struggle) but oil facilities and refining plants don't have Anti-air, radar, or counter drone capacity. So super easy to cause tens/hundreds of millions in direct damages plus upwards of billions in easy long-term expenses from lost revenue.

Asymmetric warfare against soft targets like industrial facilities is mighty expensive from an economic standpoint. It just goes to show you how rushed this war was to get it underway. The total lack of briefing and preparedness given to the other countries in the region is a diplomatic nightmare on top of the economic one.

Imagine threatening not to allow any bills to pass. When your party has only managed to get votes on 4% of bills and just 2% enacted while having a majority in both the house and Senate. 😂 Mate, y'all don't pass shit anyways. So what's actually being threatened here? It's empty. govtrack.us/congress/bills…

I just sent a letter to Leader Thune with 24 of my Republican colleagues letting him know that until they pass the SAVE America Act, we will be voting NO on any Senate bills that come to the House floor.  Republicans made a promise to the American people to secure our elections.  President Trump is counting on us. It’s time for the Senate to deliver.

I can certainly see this being the path. I was merely putting forward I don't see him accepting it, even if they offered. Which, as you said is rather unlikely due to the slaying of their leader, senior leaders, their families etc. The way I see it, we've turned it into more of a religious war instead of a legitimate strategic one. Their people are firm believers and the religious counsel elects their leader which then holds a high position. We merely turned those people into martyr's in their to further fuel hatred. He's exceptionally sensitive to the market. It's why he got the title "Taco". It's why when everything went to shit he instantly demanded nations step up and absorb some of the heat and to attempt to end this faster.

@ChazzonKe I'm not convinced the Iranians will give Trump a ceasefire offramp, as they want the economic pressure and pain to be at a maximum all at once, as they know he's highly sensitive to stock market dips. Plus, we haven't factored in revenge for all the senior leadership we took out.

A multi-million dollar radar array versus a $7,000 drone. This is asymmetric warfare, which favors Iran's much smaller military budget. The U.S. should have never launched this war without proper countermeasures, as this exposes our equipment and troops way too much.
Clash Report@clashreport

Iranian drone strike hit and destroyed a U.S.-made AN/FPS-117 early-warning radar at Al-Qaysumah Airport in northeastern Saudi Arabia. This type of radar is a key part of air defense, capable of detecting aircraft, missiles, and drones hundreds of kilometers away.

Pretty much. Even if the intensity dials back, we continue to control through force their primary oil hub for their national income. Which won't be tolerated without recourse. So it'll continue to be the hornet that stings repeatedly. Which will tie up our resources for a while. I don't even think Trump will accept a reasonable ceasefire. Because that to him (in my opinion) would be a sign of weakness. That we could not actually end it, and force them to capitulate. His ego likely won't allow it.

@ParrotCapital It will very likely be that. Iran knows they can't go toe to toe, so they'll keep on the consistent but generally low intensity to make everything miserable. Unless we sweep the entire country and wipe out every bunker this will be a long slow grind now.

@ChazzonKe Despite the optimistic outlooks of the Iran War cheerleaders, I suspect it will be more of a war of attrition than an outright military victory, at least for the near-term.

Donald Trump was overwhelmingly elected by the American people to be our President and Commander in Chief. As our Commander in Chief, he is responsible for determining what is and is not an imminent threat, and whether or not to take action he deems necessary to protect the safety and security of our troops, the American people and our country.  The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is responsible for helping coordinate and integrate all intelligence to provide the President and Commander in Chief with the best information available to inform his decisions.  After carefully reviewing all the information before him, President Trump concluded that the terrorist Islamist regime in Iran posed an imminent threat and he took action based on that conclusion.
