@sickoflibbullsh @AmericanFemnst I was able to live similar even in the 2010s. Gas was cheap and 20 bucks would buy food for a the whole car of 4 people from tbell. There were concerts for under 10$ bars had Dollar beer nights. Things were substantially cheaper.

This person is being paid to sow division between the generations. On it's face, it makes no sense unless you were filthy rich. In the 90's, minimum wage was around $4.50 - $5.00 /hr. Assuming this person was around 18 years old, with no real skills, that's what he'd make. So at $5.00/hr, if he worked 20 hrs part time, that's $100. Subtract $20 in taxes. With $80, you did not do all of those things. That means that your parents were also subsidizing this fantasy lifestyle. Which some may have, but most did not, could not afford to do. Particularly when most people had 3, 4, 5 children. It's a LIE.

When I was a teenager in the 90s, everyone had a car and we “cruised” for fun and never worried about gas. We ate fast food and went on dates at restaurants multiple times a week. We went to concerts and raves and bought name brand clothing at the mall. We worked part time and always had extra money. Our parents owned nice houses, worked ordinary jobs, and took us on vacation at least once a year. I feel sorry for Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

@sickoflibbullsh @AmericanFemnst I’m 100% convinced this all a psyop by Americas enemies to sow division, and make people believe there’s problems so we make massive negative changes, towards socialism. Russian and Chinese bot slop, and dumb people eat it up.

@BausHuck @TheEzMackGaming "Things like income, taxes, immigration, interest rates has more influence over these stats." You are asking why is it the fault of the people who voted for these changes?

Why is it the fault of the previous generation? Things like income, taxes, immigration, interest rates has more influence over these stats. Then you have consumerism. People these days consume more. The amount of crap people around me buy is insane. People think I am richer than them because I mostly buy big ticket items that I need. I stopped most of the small purchase items in my late 20s when I started living alone. People spending money has more influence over the economy than anything else. It increases inflation, encourages higher interest rates, and increases the cost of items. Not to mention that human lifespans increase. This also changes the dynamic of how life progresses.

@BreidenFehoko Truly still baffles me that a PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL PLAYER’S political position is even a discussion? Are we that callous of a society, that a political preference defines who you are as a person? But yet, we condone DV, drinking and driving, and a multitude of immoralities

Good to know a teammate cares more about my political beliefs than me beating the shit outta my spouse or going 100 plus on the freeway. He really cares about me. ❤️❤️❤️
