@MarkJCarney @HenriAGS Watching people stumble over themselves in the comments because they can’t decide if they want to bash Muslims or LGBTQ+ first is honestly wild. Y’all are fucking crazy.

Pride is a celebration of every person’s right to live openly and authentically. The attack at the Christopher Street Day festival in Berlin is horrific. No one should face hatred or violence because of who they are or who they love. My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones, and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Berlin and around the world.

@sumfggt @DipshikhaGhosh Pro tip: Stop being so ridiculous. See how you had to compare it to something that’s totally different? That’s because you don’t have a period. So you really have no idea.

@DipshikhaGhosh No one is offended, that's just disgusting. Just as people shitting themselves during marathons. As a runner myself here's a protip: opiates during a race will not only lower your heart rate and remove pain, they'll also make you constipated so no poop.

It’s quite something that men are more offended by a woman having a period publicly than a woman getting raped or murdered by a man. Look at the reactions. The pattern is extremely consistent. Heavy bleeding during high-intensity endurance sport is either denied (“periods don’t bleed like that”), sexualised (“amı patlamış” translating loosely into “her privates have exploded”), or declared a public hygiene violation that should have ended her race. As if women don’t survive after giving birth vaginally. Men really have no idea what women go through every month from as young at 9 years old till they’re beyond 40.

@RizomaSchool Love it! When your kids become teenagers and trade in bicycles for dirt bikes though, it can be a bit terrifying at first!

I think my middle daughter is having the best summer of her childhood She has this group of friends, they're all incoming 5th graders, and their moms and I have a big group chat going where a kid will ask their mom to say "anyone want to ride bikes" and then they start a little band of kids going house to house inviting others to play. Then they head to parks, to coffee shops, jump on the trampoline in their friends' yards. One good thing though is that the moms are all in touch so even if the kids don't have phones or watches to communicate, we communicate with each other where they are/where they're headed. They call it their biker gang. My daughter has told me it is her favorite thing in the whole world, riding bikes with her friends. She says I'd rather do it than go to Disneyworld! I asked her why and she said it's the freedom. There is a certain age, I'd say something like grades 3 to 7, where it is essential kids get some independence. I think back to the times in my childhood where I was given some freedom to wander in those ages, and those are some of the best memories of my life. It's so important we don't rob our kids of this. Make it happen by any means possible.

I have nothing against tattoos. I have even considered getting one myself.….. But when you go to a public pool or park, I just don't get it. There seems to be no rhymn or reason - just random graffiti all over bodies. Am I just old?

@GibbyDaGap Sounds like men need to sort themselves out. You don’t get to hold women hostage in a relationship they don’t want because it makes men sad to lose control of them.

Just found out I have yet another Democrat neighbor (hence their political yard signs). They are from Massachusetts, one of the bluest states in the country, of course they are. I am so sick and tired of you liberal Yankee retards moving to our SUPER RED areas & voting for the same bullsht that made you FLEE your high tax, dirty, crime ridden home town. We are red for a reason here. If I wanted to be Massachusetts or or Maryland or New York, I would fking move there. But of course, your home town goes to sht, you can’t afford to live there anymore, so you move down here on the gulf coast where it’s relatively inexpensive to live, it’s CLEAN, & super low crime, and yet, you STILL vote the same way. Words cannot describe how much we deep south Southerners fking DESPISE you.

Just wipe Canada out and take the damn Country. Canadians are far too fucking stupid to deserve a Country. The people allowed this to happen by turning a blind eye and accepting a corrupted Government and their handouts. Reap what you Sow Canada. You deserve everything coming your way. FA. FO

Trump gets asked if the tariffs he just imposed on Canada are a response to the wildfire smoke. He says no, but he’s still looking into that separately. He also says Canada can’t survive without the U.S.

If Canada is the problem, then why do we have absolutely no issues with any other country? None. If America is the poor victim, why are they having issue with multiple other countries? Why are they the ones constantly putting tariffs off and on in a punitive fashion? Publicly calling out Spain, messing up in Iran, stealing oil from Venezuela? No deal with Mexico either.... There is a clear and obvious common denominator here. You can see it. You can't deny it. The only question is do you acknowledge it, or do you worship Trump The Infallible?

@gator_gum Because you are the problem with your discriminatory trade practices such as quotas on automobiles and diary. Whereas other countries are not charged this way, hence the higher tariff

The Truth About Milk 🥛🇨🇦🇺🇸 Yes, Canada has high over-quota dairy tariffs on the books. But here’s the part that keeps getting left out: They’ve never been triggered on U.S. milk under USMCA. Not once. The U.S. gets a large tariff-free quota to sell dairy into Canada. Those quotas have never been filled, so the 200–300% over-quota tariffs have never actually been applied to U.S. exports. Even the U.S. dairy industry has acknowledged it has never come close to exceeding the quotas. Canada is a country of just 41 million people. We simply don’t consume enough imported U.S. dairy to hit the quota limits. The “270% tariff on Canadian milk” talking point/ sound bite leaves out the most important fact: it has never actually been charged on U.S. exports.

@AmericanUF Holy shit you’re stupid. Canada doesn’t charge the US up to 300% on dairy. It’s a TRQ and the threshold has never been hit so it’s never been charged. The US also has the same TRQs on Canada, up to 350% on some dairy. So the US’s are actually higher, idiot.

Canada charges up to 300% on American dairy. Almost every province pulled American alcohol off their shelves — just ours, nobody else's. That was fine, apparently. Now a 50% tariff comes back and suddenly it's a 'trade war.' Argue the tool all you want. Here's the move you actually control: read the label. Buy American. It's the one tax you can walk right past — and the paycheck it protects belongs to your neighbor. It kicks in after 30 days. Watch who comes to the table.

Canadian government officials are not going to attend what was supposed to be a joint Canada-US event, the Gordie Howe Bridge ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for Friday because of the new 50% tariffs saying it would be “inappropriate to proceed with a celebratory event between the two countries.” Here’s a statement from the infrastructure ministers office #cdnpoli
