@JustinTrudeau I don’t understand how the government can speak out on the hate when you constantly go on live tv and spew hate daily. Stop talking about the few people who caused trouble and focus on the thousands who were there to spread love.

I know this pandemic is frustrating. It’s frustrating that, after two years, we’re not done fighting COVID-19. But over the past few days, Canadians have been shocked – and, frankly, disgusted – by the behaviour displayed by some people protesting in our nation’s capital.

The display of racism and anti-Semitism we witnessed by the flying of Confederate flags and Nazi swastikas is vile, violent and hateful. MPs who attended and failed to confront it should look into a mirror and ask themselves what kind of Canada they’re building for our children.
