Big Jets in downtown Toronto mean loud noises for millions of people. Imagine waking up every 30 minutes because your building is vibrating and the noise from the jet engines is making your ears hurt. Doug Ford is a complete moron, and all Conservatives are evil pigs.
Alan Deschamps@DechampsAlan

“The only clear beneficiaries [of jets at Billy Bishop Airport] would be the American investors who now own the island airport’s terminal facilities and gates.” #onpoli #topoli @NoJetsTO thestar.com/politics/polit… via @torontostar

Canada-Alberta MOU deliverable #2 ✅

Today, we announced an agreement with Alberta to reduce methane emissions - a gas 80x more potent than carbon dioxide. Canada is a leader in reducing methane: methane emissions in Alberta have already dropped by more than 50% since 2014.

This is regulatory certainty. This is responsible development. This is being an energy superpower. This is Team Canada in action.

More to come in the next few weeks!
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

Canada is strongest when we work together. Today, Canada and Alberta reached an agreement to lower methane emissions in the oil and gas sector — to create good jobs, cut pollution, and help position Canada as the world’s supplier of choice for responsibly-produced energy.

Mark Carney's Justice Minister needs to be held to account for the immigration dumpster fire he started. If the Prime Minister won't do it, Conservatives will. We just passed this motion.
Brad Redekopp@BradRedekopp

BREAKING ‼️ Conservatives force investigation into the massive fraud in Canada’s immigration system. We are going to hold the Carney Liberals to account for this fiasco. More to come…

@MelissaLantsman They aren't there to work with anyone. They bastardize the true functions of our Parliamentary System, and they have a lot of help through media and many institutions.

Today, the Liberals voted down four Conservative justice bills. Every single one of these bills had a straightforward purpose: protect Canadians and respect victims. The Liberals said no to all of them. ❌ Consecutive sentences for sexual predators ❌ Deportation for serious crimes ❌ Ending annual parole hearings for murderers ❌ Jail Not Bail Act Violent crime is up 55% under the Liberals. This is their answer.

Pierre Poilievre delivers (1) Year Mark Carney report card. Justin Trudeau was by far the worst Prime Minister in Canadian history Mark Carney has managed to be far worse
cbcwatcher@cbcwatcher

Carney, a year in review "Now, after a year of this Prime Minister being in office, on the promise that he would, quote, negotiate a win with the United States is a good time to take an inventory where we are." "He promised that he would give us the fastest growing economy in the G7. We now have the only shrinking economy in the G7." "He promised affordable food. We have the most food inflation in the G7. "He promised that we would have a solid economy. We now have the worst housing costs and the highest household debt in the G7 and the second highest unemployment in that group." "He said that he would negotiate a win with the President. Here we are today, a year later, no win, no deal." "Tariffs on aluminum and steel have doubled and on Canadian lumber they have tripled." "He promised that he would build projects with record speed. And yet his major projects office, which this house rushed into existence in five days back in June because the Prime Minister said it was an emergency, has still not approved a single project of any kind." "Almost a year later, not a single pipeline has been approved" "And of course when it comes to building homes, he promised he would double home building his own housing agency projects that will drop by 15%." ... and no tax reform, and interprovincial trade barriers remain But boomers and paid media remain smitten with Carney's eloquent deflections from domestic headaches @PierrePoilievre

The government of Canada and Alberta have reached a "agreement-in-principle on methane equivalency," one of the key portions of the MOU, that set out to reduce methane emissions by 75% below 2014 levels by 2035 in Alberta. Here is the release from the PMO #cdnpoli
