In Aotearoa New Zealand we have widened genetic aortopathy testing for patients with Acute Aortic Syndrome (AAS). We've found our patients, in Te Manawa Taki, may actually have a higher risk of a problematic underlying genetic aortopathy compared to international cohorts.
