@AndyKHLiu I know he wanted to go and win a title on his own, but I just never really understood his decision to leave. He might have 2 more championships to his name at this point.

@JamCristopher @TommyGunnNBA You can tell what other teams actually thing based on the coverages they throw at players and the “Steph Rules” are more extreme than what any other player gets

Because Steph curry is better than Kevin Durant at basketball and it’s okay to admit it it’s not a knock steph curry is probably a top 5 player ever its a shame ppl don’t get it
NO SAUCES ENT. @b0y1da_

So we can all finally agree.. KD needed Steph more than Steph needed KD. Steph was always the focal point of the warriors from 2016-19. He made it to where KD could fry whoever he wanted to 1 on 1 vs being doubled like he is now

@ChiefMeesh @NateDuncanNBA Fair. I also don’t think Lu actually tripped Jokic. His foot never touched him. Is it a foul? Yes. Did Jokic sell it? 1000%

Catching up on Thunder/Nuggets: loved the flagrant 2 ejection on Dort. Just a totally unnecessary play.

@GideonTownsend @dieter @AndyKHLiu Great Thai food. Viet food not very good. Ditto for Mexican food. I used it live there and loved it for a billion different cuisines but those two things are hard to get good versions of.

@dieter @AndyKHLiu I just looked it up on AI: “NYC has a strong reputation for excellent Southeast Asian food, particularly for authentic Thai, Vietnamese, and specialized regional dishes, with high-quality options frequently cited in Queens and Brooklyn.”

A truly special interview with Jack Hughes, Quinn Hughes and Connor Hellebuyck. Beers in hand. Quinn shouting out the troops. The game MVP standing like a statue. Dylan Larkin video bomb. Hockey.

I'm no legal scholar, but I'm pretty sure the practical translation of this passage from Gorsuch is "every justice other than me and Roberts is either a hypocrite or insane"

Steve Kerr reportedly wanted to develop Jonathan Kuminga into a Shawn Marion/Aaron Gordon type, but Kuminga viewed himself as a future All-Star and wanted more on-ball opportunities, per @anthonyVslater “Kuminga's career developed, Kuminga believed he'd shown enough in supplementary roles to have earned more consistent trust and on-ball opportunity. Neither happened to his liking, sources said, only hardening his belief that Kerr and general manager Mike Dunleavy would only ever view him as a run-fast, jump-high athlete without the requisite skill to be a lead option.” (Via espn.com/nba/story/_/id…)

Interesting piece. Sadly there’s no statistical case (so far) for Kuminga to be a star. Can’t shoot 3s, not really a rebounder, erratic low-post player… if he’s one of your best 3 guys, where are you going? But he’s also had stretches where we went, “Oh yea, I kinda see it!”
