We at @approject were proud to sign this letter. POPA is fake age verification. We need the real thing. ✅ SCREEN Act — to protect kids from harmful sexual content ✅ App Store Accountability Act — to empower parents and allow them to direct their kids’ online experience.

New York banned phones in schools. Nearly 1 million kids. One year later, teachers say they've never seen kids so engaged. Card games in the halls. Real conversations at lunch. This is what happens when parents speak up.

Are we really protecting our kids? Apple and Google let apps that sexualize people run rampant. With 483 million downloads, they're directing users to dangerous tools. One even has an E rating for Everyone. Our kids deserve better. We need the App Store to step up.

Meta is saying they might pull Facebook and Instagram from states prioritizing our kids' online safety. Their excuse? Blocking under-13 users means everyone loses access. Are we really okay with profits coming before our kids' well-being? If they can adapt overseas, why not here.

We flew to DC for the Mother’s Day Rally on Child Online Safety. Because we know parents are the real power here. When we speak up, decisions change. Every win matters. Our kids are worth every effort. Join us on this journey @childfirstpolicy.

A teacher was asked about tech in schools. She did not hold back. Data over kids. No admin support. But parents are paying attention and things are changing. When parents and teachers work together, decisions makers have to listen. @childfirstpolicy

We’re at the Mother’s Day Rally for Online Safety. Today, parents shared heart-wrenching stories about their kids lost to drug dealers via social media. No warnings, no consequences. Our kids deserve better. It’s time for Congress to listen. Big Tech has had long enough.

We're on Capitol Hill today for a powerful Mother's Day Rally for Online Safety. Hearing parents share their stories about online harms to our kids puts everything in perspective. Big Tech has had long enough. It's time for change. @SenBlumenthal

Parents asked the right questions at the Colonial School District meeting: transparency on device use, opt-out options, and proof that apps are better than paper. These demands are reasonable, and parents are rising up. When we show up, things change. Follow @childfirstpolicy.

Texas just sued Netflix for spying on children and selling their data without consent. If you made a Netflix kids profile for your child, you need to know this. Our kids are not a data source. They deserve protection. @childfirstpolicy

This is what the Canvas data breach looks like in real life. A scam job offer sent to kids using their own school email. No consent to be in the system. No protection when it fails. We need the SAFE Act to prevent harm before it happens. @utahparentsunited childfirstpolicy.org

Canvas was hacked, exposing our kids' private data. This is a clear signal that every platform used in classrooms must prove it's safe before accessing their information. The SAFE Act can make this a reality. We need accountability now. @utahparentsunited

AI in our kids' classrooms is real, and the Utah State Board of Education is formalizing it. But where does that leave us? What’s our right to opt in? What safety measures exist? The SAFE Act would require real answers. We need this law to protect our kids. @utahparentsunited
