Wealthy parents are going to start sending their kids to "low tech" private schools while working class kids are going to be handed tablets filled with ed tech and AI. Writing by hand and turning in paper assignments will become the new upper-class cultural symbol.

Kids in Lower Merion school district in Pennsylvania get iPads starting in kindergarten, switch to Chromebooks in second grade and get their own MacBooks in eighth grade. Hundreds of parents signed a petition asking to preserve their ability to opt their children out of using digital devices during the school day. The school district has pushed back, saying it’s not feasible to let hundreds of students opt out of technology that is essential to the curriculum.

Are we really protecting our kids? Apple and Google let apps that sexualize people run rampant. With 483 million downloads, they're directing users to dangerous tools. One even has an E rating for Everyone. Our kids deserve better. We need the App Store to step up.

Meta is saying they might pull Facebook and Instagram from states prioritizing our kids' online safety. Their excuse? Blocking under-13 users means everyone loses access. Are we really okay with profits coming before our kids' well-being? If they can adapt overseas, why not here.
