Chiwenga should exercise caution and restraint when dealing with ED considering his experience and strategic thinking. Provocation, whether through words or actions, risks undermining both his personal credibility and the stability of leadership, ummm, this isn't the ZanuPF way.

The ZRP is now instituting formal investigations into the activities of a social media activist, Majaira Jairosi for drafting and circulating purported police statements on social media. The statements in question are being presented in a manner that may mislead the public into believing they are official communications from the ZRP. This has the potential to cause unnecessary alarm, confusion and undermine public confidence in official police channels. In response, the ZRP has lodged a formal complaint with X, seeking the platform’s intervention in addressing the dissemination of misleading content and to ensure compliance with its policies on misinformation and impersonation. The public is strongly advised to rely solely on verified and official ZRP communication platforms for accurate information. Investigations into the matter are ongoing and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the law.

The reshuffle in the Ministry of Lands is a timely intervention that should be commended. The Ministry had become a hub of corruption with Minister Masuka, already overrated as a Minister, becoming the Bishop of Land deals. He is just good at talking unlike Ministers like Perence Shiri who was about action on the ground. Land was being cut up and parcelled out to people who paid all over the country even with other signatures missing. This was prolific in Mash West with State Minister Marian Chombo. Allocations were being done there even without the signatures of Chairman of the Province. Lately this pandemic of corruption was made manifest when Masuka decided to roll out another prototype on rehabilitation when there was an approved one already which we had been given. Money amounting to over US$2.3 million exchanged hands and we have the details on it and we release it all in due time. He literally ignored the signature and approval of the President. How can one country have two prototypes on rehabilitation? To compound matters, our company was doing rehabilitation and yet the company which was preferred ahead of us, was doing mining under the guise of rehabilitation! Despite EMA being the responsible authority he simply muscled them out of the way. I have always warned people that ED plays the long game and that even if you haven't as yet gotten your comeuppance it doesn't mean you have escaped. It will catch up with you. Masuka was just parceling land and there should be an audit to account for much that went on. He had gotten big-headed and appropriated the minimal successes in agriculture to his person which is very unfortunate. Rushwaya himself is also to blame as he protected some of these corrupt Ministers because he is also in the same deals. At least there are types like Tafadzwa Muguti who works hard, is an honest and upright young man who exposes the many corrupt deals. That is why they don't like him in the system because they want to push their own selfish deals. He is the kind that the President should elevate to higher offices. Congratulations also to Minister Haritatos who has remained loyal and works very hard. I was his Chairman in Mash West and can testify that you can't corrupt Vargo. Thank God that there won't be anymore corrupt land deals. We can't have a Minister accusing anaSabhuku of land deals yet he is the Bishop of Land deals.

@TembaMliswa Paragraph 1. Accumulation of wealth under whose watch? Paragraph 3. Who is attacking the President and does he need defence from anyone or the constitution defends him. Should those around him defend him or their loot?. So far you have taken the trophy from a distance in defense.

The President has too many opportunists around him, eager only to accumulate wealth for themselves and yet never ready to defend his position and standing. From the Politburo, Central Committee etc there are many stooges, lacking the gravitas and energy to wage battle for their party and the leader. Thus time and again he has been railroaded without any defence from those who by natural order and structure should be leading the defence. When your parent is attacked in your presence how can you remain quiet and docile? At the height of the attacks against ED, many in the party retreated and hid away. Maitotya kudaira when your leader was under attack! Its just that ED is a veteran of such shenanigans and isn’t easily ruffled. He faced the same in 2017& never uttered a word in response. He remains a constitutionalist and is able to handle so many dramatic characters as we have seen with the drama by his VP. Zvigaro hazvitorwe nehasha dzekuzviti ndakaunza Zimbabwe. This country is a product of the masses who sacrificed their sons, daughters and even their wealth. Some of us have been in the party before and understand its ways even better than some who remain in it. Tinotodawo zvigaro izvozvo as we also have massive supporters vanoti Bhuru pinda, but we know how it should be done. Tichauya kumusangano ikoko and teach you the proper way of doing things! CAB3 is a recent example of a weak support system for the President. The Bill has very commendable amendments and massive support from the areas which I visited. However, the party has failed to set the tempo in articulating the positive nature of the 22 clauses which need to be amended. Instead, the opposition managed to reduce the conversation to just 2 clauses and painted everything negatively. I have previously cited organs such as Women’s League and Youth Wing. They have totally failed in their duties as the militant arms of the party. Certain people will have to be named and shamed as they no longer have any relevance because all they want is money. Some already have enough money such that they no longer have need for the incumbent. They can do away with him! Its those who are at the bottom who suffer defending the President and the party imi kumusoro ikoko muchingodya mega. The people who were attending the CAB3 meetings were mainly the ordinary party members and I salute them for that. I also salute traditional leaders who were able to come out and endorse CAB3. We worked for this thing traversing the length of the country and yet those who will enjoy the fruits of this work are at the top who never did much. I have always criticized what I feel is wrong and won’t stop even if I’m not from within the party. The party creates our Hovernment and by that lineage its condition is everyone’s business. What I never do is insult anyone. As it is, there is an active faction within ZANU PF which has given itself to advancing the candidature of VP Chiwenga as a better leader and are even agitating for him to usurp the sitting President. The blunt verdict for such actions is that they are the highest form of subversive action in a party. One can’t present themselves as a party member and yet work against the very same party’s leader and the agreed resolutions. Once a position has been agreed every party member has a duty to abide by it otherwise you are just a sleeper opposition member who should be handled as such. Not even VP Chiwenga himself would be receptive to such antics if he were the one in office. That these people have been allowed to remain inside is due to ED’s own operational patience in playing the long game than anything else. He knows and allows one a very long rope. It only takes one day for everything to unravel. We also know some of them and very soon some of us will simply state the names plainly. A party can only have one leader at a time. Once one decides to create parallel structure through which he sells himself as the better leader that is not just selling out but undermining the current leader. The same applies to supporting the party’s resolutions. Once a position has been agreed its incumbent upon everyone in the party to affirm and stand with that position. In plain words, for any ZANU PF member, once you find yourself advancing an agenda of leadership that promotes someone else other than the one who has been chosen by the party, you have totally lost it and become a subversive element that should be dealt with harshly and totally. Its telling how some of us, supporters who are outside the party have come to be the prime defenders of the President and the party more than those inside. However, as supporters we shall continue making our voices to be heard. After all supporters can't be fired but they can influence the firing of coaches!

He not only quit Zimbabwe, but he quit the opposition a long time ago. Ndabaningi Sithole did the same thing. He abandoned the fight and relocated to the United States and was ousted as leader over it. Chamisa is back in the United States and only returned briefly to get his wife and kid. The shocking thing is he still pretends to be in Zimbabwe, among other false pretenses. He doesn't not tell his Chapwati Brigade that he has abandoned ship for the luxuries and comforts of America Chakanwirwa chinhu ichi. @nelsonchamisa

FROM OUR INBOX : I would like to name and shame this rude boy called Lesley Nyakatawa, am told he is the manager at the Helensvale food court by Zuva service station. On Sunday afternoon l went to buy burger and chips but clearly told him that burger must not have sauce or cheese, this l repeated 3 times and even said "l hope wazvibata", this l said because he wasnt paying attention as l spoke to him and knowing my child doesnt like sauce or cheese l didnt want to get a wrong order then have issues on changing etc. Gave him my card and swipped, l got my order only to realise that there were no chips, went back and told him that there are no chips and he says bring the card and pay for the chips, then l said aaah inga l paid for burger and chips and he just went bezek saying l only charged for burger and am like why and he said haiwawoo togara tichimaita ma error aya saka you want free chips hee hee, he shouted in the food court kuti varikuda zvemahara and was like do you think l will come here for free food just like that but guy was so rude and even shouting more instead of apologising until another customer paid for the chips for me and he insisted l wanted free food, honestly l felt humiliated and dissapointed. Is this how managers deal with customers, yes l was still prepared to pay cash for the chips not swipe again but instead of being apologetic he kept shouting at me. I actually wanted to slap him for his behaviour just that he went back behind the counter. Those in authority at Innscor please deal with your staff. @SimbisaBrands @ChickenInnZW

The ruling against Terry Kelly, upholding that he doesn't hold a valid lease for Chewore Lodge, after 15 years of operating in the area is a shocking travesty of justice and an offensive immorality. Kelly's Suscaden Investments had the necessary paperwork with the Minister's signature affixed and yet their case fell through because they allegedly failed to provide clear evidence that the Minister had approved the lease. What else could he use to prove that, besides the signed documents plus the receipts of paid rates over the 15 years paid to ZimParks? Yet it was argued in Court that the Minister did not sign and ZimParks doesn't recognize the lease! This flagrant disregard for economic rights of private businesses and property rights is a blatant attack against the whole notion of Zimbabwe being open for business. It's well known that rival business people have been sponsoring and pushing state institutions to fight Kelly which is very unfortunate. Investments cannot flow where there is no security and stability. This case needs to be revisited and the hidden culprits eyeing this private investment by Suscaden dealt with. thesouthafrican.com/news/zimbabwe/…

NICOLÁS MADURO WAS SOLD OUT BY HIS COMRADES IN THE BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION: The @WSJ reports that a recent classified US intelligence assessment determined that top members of Maduro’s regime—including Vice President Delcy Rodríguez who has been sworn in as Acting President—would be best positioned to lead the government in Venezuela and maintain near-term stability, if Maduro was deposed by the US. So, the massive US "shock and awe" invasion to abduct Maduro and his wife was to effect leadership change, not regime change in Venezuela. Hair-raising stuff for incumbent leaders —and a rude awakening for the self-indulgent opposition that styles itself as "the only authentic democratic alternative"—in the Global South! wsj.com/politics/natio… via @WSJ

ED Shows He Is Not Power Hungry. One of the most telling signs of leadership maturity is the ability to delegate authority without fear or insecurity. This morning, Acting President, General (Rtd) Dr C.G.D.N. Chiwenga will preside over the burial of the late National Hero, Brigadier General (Rtd) Mathias Tizirai Ngarava at the National Heroes Acre. This is not a trivial gesture. It is a profound statement.President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa, by allowing his deputy to act in his stead during such a high-profile national event, demonstrates a level of political confidence and institutional respect that was sorely lacking in the past. Unlike former President Robert Mugabe who, even while on annual leave in Singapore, would not countenance anyone chairing Cabinet in his absence ED has shown that he is not beholden to the trappings of power. This is a departure from the past. It is a sign of a leader who understands that power is not diminished by sharing it, but rather strengthened when exercised through trusted institutions and delegated authority.Zimbabwe needs more of this kind of leadership.
