@7NewsSydney Why didn’t the PM visit the USA that is an actual ally and has heaps of liquid fuel! Absolutely bizarre!

Anthony Albanese says he now has a guarantee from one of our most crucial suppliers not to restrict its fuel and fertiliser exports to Australia. The PM's visit to the tiny nation of Brunei a big deal as fears emerge that the world is on the brink of recession. #auspol

Glad to see the Australian government on board. Massive milestone today with Bowen acknowledging EV growth is already offsetting the oil crisis. Increasing reserves while demand falls makes no sense. Now for a solar carport mandate! Charge baby charge. ☀️⚡ #Bettrification #EVs

@GreenTyler27 Labor is actually the party of billionaires and big business- they put a cap on labor via union agreements, and then have rampant migration that big businesses love!

I find it very interesting that unions in Australia complain about “billionaires,” but at the same time stay very quiet on the system they help create. By restricting labour and inflating costs, they make everything more expensive for everyone; housing, infrastructure and of course; energy. The real divide isn’t private jets, it’s policies that protect insiders while everyone else pays the price. Don’t fall for the dog whistles….

The fertiliser from Brunei helps grow the food we buy, and drive our economy. That's why I'm here, to help secure what our farmers need to keep Australia moving. While the war in the Middle East continues to impact supply in Australia, it is more important than ever that we work closely with our neighbours.

Once you go retrospective tax, you never go back. @JEChalmers is tax assaulting any Australian that wants to invest in a better the future. These aren’t the taxes Australians voted for.

Australia's gas exports rose by $48 BILLION in a decade. In that same decade, revenue from the petroleum resources rent tax FELL by $450 million. The PRRT is broken. This is why Australia needs a 25% gas export tax. #auspol

While you work harder than ever to get ahead, the 1% make money in their sleep and big corporations make massive profits. And it's getting worse. But here’s the kicker: while your wages are taxed heavily, the wealth of the top 1% is not. It's unfair.

Panem et circenses The bread and circuses certainly feel good in the moment. But then the bill arrives. South Australia is pushing toward ~$50 billion in debt while services are being diminished. That’s the trade-off they don’t talk about: short-term applause → long-term decline. We need to reset the priorities in SA: - Spend within our means - Fund essentials first (health, infrastructure, energy reliability) - Stop loading costs onto the next generation Because right now, we’re not investing in the future of our state, we’re borrowing against it.
