@SawyerMerritt I’m fan of Ferrari in general but this looks like absolute trash!

Ferrari has just officially unveiled its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce.
• Starting price: $640,000
• Interior co-designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive
• Range: 280 miles (expected EPA)
• Peak charging speed: 350kW
• 122 kWh battery
• 1,050 horsepower
• 0-60mph: 2.4s
• 800v
• Four-door four-seater
• Four electric motors
• OLED screens
• Weight: 4,982 lbs
• Front motors spin to 30,000 rpm, rears hit 25,500 rpm
• Car uses an accelerometer to capture real vibrations from the electric motors & rear chassis. An algorithm filters out unpleasant frequencies and amplifies only the more “musical” sounds. This can be heard inside and outside the car.
• Paddle shifter on steering wheel changes how aggressively torque is delivered, with five different levels
• The trunk has 21.1 cubic feet of space, the largest luggage capacity the company has ever offered
• 197.6 inches long, about as long as a Tesla Model S
U.S. deliveries start in Q2 2027. More photos in the thread below:

@ChicagosMayor They have no parents or their parents are bad parents.

Unauthorized large gatherings can quickly become dangerous, and early this morning, after curfew hours, we saw that firsthand. I am grateful to the officers who responded diligently to help keep people safe and relieved that the officers who were injured are in fair condition.
I continue to call on parents and guardians to know where their children are and to help ensure they are safe and accounted for. There also must be accountability for the individuals who participated in the violent and reckless behavior. My administration is creating opportunities and safe spaces for young people, but families, communities, and city leaders all have a role to play in keeping our young people safe.

@Libs_OfChicago My daughter is an emergency nurse in Chicago. Memorial day weekend is the beginning of what they call trauma season. She says we are going to be cracking chests all weekend. 21 people shot last night. five cops got run over at another takeover on the westside.

🇺🇸 A Chicago woman said what her entire neighborhood was thinking.
Over 500 teenagers organized a late night "takeover," jumping on cars, blocking streets, screaming at 1AM. Dozens of police were called just to escort them home.
One woman had enough.
"I come outside and motherf***ers standing on top of your car, throwing ass, shaking ass. You tell them to get off your car, they wanna get ignorant with you!"
One woman on her street did more than 500 parents did that night.

NEW: Streamer “Chud the Builder” has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly shot someone outside a Tennessee courthouse.
28-year-old Dalton Eatherly is known for spewing racial slurs at people and filming it for his followers.
Eatherly accidentally shot himself during the scuffle after being confronted for his racist content.
“He said, ‘You start saying all that chimp out sh*t to me and ‘imma hit you,’ and he hit me, he started whaling on me,” Eatherly claimed, according to CNN.
According to officials, the victim, who was shot by Eatherly, was medically evacuated and is in stable condition.
Eatherly appeared to accidentally shoot himself in the arm.
Eatherly was also charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and employing a firearm during a dangerous felony.

I rarely eat out.
Maybe once a month. Went yesterday to a restaurant (Italian, Mediterranean) in West Seattle for Mother’s Day last night.
Total for 5 of us ( we don’t drink alcohol) with one salad, humus and 3 vegetarian pastas was $97
The check said 3.5% surcharge for credit card. Then 17% service fee, mandatory.
Then tips were 20% 22% and 25% optional.
I asked if I could pay in cash.
No. They don’t take cash. Then how can I avoid the credit card fee I asked.
You can’t.
So I asked why the service charge.
It pays for the employees they said.
Then why the tip I asked.
It pays for front office staff
I don’t get it.

@SalaryDr Anesthesiology locums rates are great. That can’t be said of other fields though

@olsonplanner @dominustweet Some people have no lives outside of work. They rack up the money and lead boring lives. Their lives revolve around home and work. Some are pretty damn cheap and stingy too so they don’t want to pay for a plane ticket to go anywherePretty damn sad. Life is short go live it.
English

@dominustweet Maybe work is what they love most? I hope that's the reason.
English

Yep. Giant bases do not break out like this just to fail.
If you look across the major industry buckets, they are all coming out of massive consolidations with huge momentum.
1999 is the closest analog, but I think the current environment is considerably stronger and has the potential to go much further.
English

It’s absolutely mind-boggling how many giant bases are breaking out right now. The market has the most insane tailwind of all time. People are going to get so fucking rich over the next decade, and the craziest part is that this is really just starting.
Humbling. Exciting. Motivating.
It feels like the last six years of my very short trading career have literally just been practice. Practice for this exact environment.
I’ve spent countless hours, tens of thousands of hours, refining, breaking, improving, failing, then refining, breaking, improving, and failing again, all for this moment.
People who have trained for this, studied for this, and understand how to take maximum advantage of this environment are going to have opportunities most people won’t even recognize until years after they’ve already passed.
Only a few of you will actually understand what I’m saying. You would have had to be with me through the journey. Most people will probably think it sounds like nonsense.
But all of the training is about to pay off in a way bigger than I ever could have imagined.
It’s time to go to war.

"Episodic Pivots are the start of new uptrends." - Qullamaggie
There have been so many great moves and trends off of EPs in the last year. Looking back.
$BE 900%. $TTMI 660%. $LWLG 200%. $DELL 90%. Just to name a very small few.
Neglected stocks. Gap up on catalysts or earnings.
One announcement. And they immediately change character and start to uptrend. Providing plenty of setups and adds along the way.
Some stocks like $BE $TTMI completely transform. Becoming institutional grade stocks. Making large outsized moves. Obeying institutional moving averages.
Some moves are more short lived.
Regardless, still plenty of profits to net from these setups.
Really cool to see these play out. How far they go.
And trading new ones. Some solid opportunities this season so far.
Hoping $MRAM $BAND or $OSS can be next winner for me. $RKLB too. Larger market cap but still looks powerful.
Just insane potential for big winners and big moves out of these setups.

@unusual_whales Tom Lee is a fraud and he has been wrong for years.
English

Somehow people are going to lay this at Arturas Karnisovas' feet. who drafted Ayo and resigned him to a lesser deal when he had a chance.
Starting him would have built more value. This is an indictment on Donovan who wasted a lot of talent in Chicago.
