@Drweloveu Life no truly balance,,I literally do all the house chores even as a business woman.. No maid,no sister living with me just me with four kids. I cook ,wash ,clean and do d school yet one man isn't grateful about it. He sees my needs as a burden, but let outsiders ask for it ,boom

A woman filed for divorce from her husband. The judge asked her to state her reason. She said her husband was manipulative and controlling. She was asked to explain how. She said when he comes home from work and dinner is not ready, he gets angry. When he comes home and the house is not clean, he gets angry. The judge asked if she works outside the home. She said no. She is a FULL-TIME HOUSEWIFE The judge then asked a simple question So why is dinner not ready, and the house not in order, to welcome a man who has been out doing his own part for the household? Her answer? “I am taking care of two children.” Dear men, If you ever find yourself in this situation, and you have truly tried to make it work… 🚫Stop begging for what you deserve in your own home. I recommend you find yourself a female bestie... Bestie that enjoys cooking... After work Please go and eat where food is ready. So that you stop controlling and manipulating madam in the house. Marriage comes with responsibilities If a woman finds the basic duties of her chosen role unbearable, And she also finds this recommended peaceful resolution uncomfortable... She can leave, So that another woman who understands that marriage comes with responsibilities not just comfort can take her place. #conversationsthatmatter #relationship #marriage

@Maziitunde 3 They look out for each other. Their love and sacrifice is not one-sided. The man was carrying their 2 bags while the woman held the umbrella. That's beautiful

Two years ago, my sister told us she was getting married. We were all excited — I was already planning my asoebi 😭 A month later, she came home with her partner… a woman. My dad was furious. My mom kept asking if it was a joke. But my sister was serious. Things got really bad at home. My parents tried to “fix” it, but she stood her ground. Since same-sex marriage isn’t allowed in Nigeria, she relocated to the UK with her partner. They got married last Saturday. My parents didn’t attend. Me and my brothers were the only ones there. The truth is… I just want her to be happy 💔✨

@NancyIsime678 I no follow for this one. I have so much respect for myself. Cheating, to me, is a derogatory act. Heaven knows that, if it starts going south that it's becoming irredeemable, I use door without remorse

Men need to understand something… you can’t do nothing but respect a woman that cheats. A woman don’t just wake up and cheat for no reason. She tries, she begs, she asks for time, attention, affection… she gives chance after chance until she’s drained. And when she finally steps out, it’s because she went looking for what she couldn’t get at home. Now men on the other hand will risk a happy home for nothing, just off impulse and ego. So let’s be real… a lot of times men are the reason women cheat in the first place. That’s not betrayal, that’s a reaction. Women cheat out of love and neglect, it’s a cry for attention. So instead of judging women, maybe it’s time for men to take accountability and forgive them for what they were pushed to do.

You will think younger women will take their time and read up the stories of Tonto Dikeh and Tiwa Savage and learn from them.. When these two women were in their 20s they were flawlessly beautiful and they can afford anything for themselves.. They both got married and decided they are too beautiful to be loyal, submissive and guided by a man.. Today, one has entered the church while the other couldn't single the lyrics of her own song.. If you had told these women 15 years ago that it will be hard to keep a man they will never had believed it.. Their fans lied to them and more women are still delusional till date. Many women don't learn anything from history and they will end up making same mistake over again.. Leonardo Medici

When my father was alive, he gave me advice that sounded very strange at the time. He told me to marry a woman who, even if she saw me kissing another woman in a corridor, would pretend she didn’t see it. I was shocked. I couldn’t understand why a father would tell his son something like that. But as I grew older, the meaning became clear. He wasn’t asking me to be irresponsible. He was teaching me that life, fame, and pressure come with many temptations. He wanted me to choose a woman who could stay calm, protect our home, and not break the marriage at the first sign of a problem. He meant I needed a partner with wisdom, patience, and the strength to stand with me through difficult seasons. That advice shaped how I understand marriage today. It showed me that a lasting union is bigger than appearances. It is built on loyalty, maturity, and two people willing to fight for each other, even when things get hard. — Richard Mofe Damijo

I have been dating Femi for 3 years. Femi is a "good man." He is a civil engineer, struggling but promising. He loves me with everything. But love doesn't pay for Bone Straight wigs or an iPhone 15. That is where Chief comes in. Chief is my "financial pillar." He is married, living in GRA. He knows I have a "boyfriend," but he thinks Femi is just a broke student I will eventually dump. Yesterday was my birthday. I had calculated everything perfectly. Dinner with Femi from 6 PM to 8 PM at a nice lounge in GRA. Then I would tell Femi I have a headache and need to sleep, so I could go meet Chief at his hotel by 9 PM. The plan was solid. Or so I thought. At 7:30 PM, Femi signaled the waiter. The music changed. The waiter brought a cake with "Will You Marry Me?" written on it. Femi went on one knee. He brought out a ring. It wasn't a diamond, but it was beautiful. He started speaking about how I stuck with him through the trenches. The whole restaurant was clapping. People were bringing out their phones to record. I was smiling, but my heart was beating fast. I wanted to say "Yes" quickly so we could leave. "Yes, Femi! Yes!" I screamed. He slid the ring on my finger. He stood up to hug me. That was when the music stopped abruptly. I looked at the entrance. Walking in, surrounded by two mobile policemen, was Chief. He wasn't smiling. He was holding a huge bouquet of flowers and a car key. He had tracked my iPhone location (the one he bought) to surprise me for my birthday. He saw Femi hugging me. He saw the ring on my finger. The restaurant went silent. Femi looked at Chief. Chief looked at Femi. Chief didn't fight. He didn't shout. He just walked up to our table, looked me in the eye, and laughed a cold, dry laugh. He pointed at Femi and asked me, "Asa, is this the small boy you said is just your coursemate?" Femi looked at me, confused. "Asa, who is this man?" I couldn't speak. I was freezing. Chief turned to Femi and said, "Young man, congratulations. You want to marry her? Good. But I hope you can maintain the maintenance. The hair on her head, N450k, I paid for it last week. The dress she is wearing, I bought it in Dubai. The phone she is using to record this happy moment, I bought it." Femi looked at me. He looked at the ring on my finger. He looked at the Chief. The shame was burning my skin. Femi didn't ask me any questions. He didn't ask for an explanation. He just quietly removed his hand from my waist. He looked at me with disgust, total disgust, and walked out of the restaurant. He didn't even ask for the ring back. Chief looked at me, dropped the car key he brought for my birthday into his pocket, and said, "You are a greedy fool. You lost a husband, and you lost a sponsor. Happy Birthday." He walked out with his MOPOLs. I stood there alone in the middle of the restaurant, wearing an engagement ring from a man who hates me, wearing a dress from a man who dumped me, while strangers recorded my shame to post on @instablog9ja.
