@Invinium I’m of the opinion that we shouldn’t see anything pre shattering that’s not explicitly told to us through dialogue in the game like Marika banishing Godfrey. It’s really crucial to the entire world and story that all that stuff is ancient and we don’t really understand it.

If the movie is around the shattering period then apart from Marika herself, Radahn is unironically the most important character to get right.
It's not even a fandom-culture thing either he's literally a major building block into why the lore of the game is so good.

Upopular opinion: I don’t think we should see marika in her entirety. The fact that she is shrouded in so much mystery and her vague motivations are partly what makes her so compelling.

This is only an unverified set photo, we don't know what this scene looks like, but I do think one of the quickest ways to prove my fears about demystifying Elden Ring correct would be to show us Queen Marika's face or to hear her words directly. Hope that's not what happens!
