Even with $7 gas in California, you will only save $7 per year driving a Tesla $TSLA.
Unless you want to drive 20 mins away, after 1 am, to sit in a parking lot and maybe get 35-40 cents kWh.
If not, you are paying 48-57 cents kWh during normal times people live their lives.
EVs are a total scam for fuel savings.
Your savings are reduced maintenance costs, that’s it.

Just traded my car in for my first Tesla!Experiencing FSD from behind the wheel for the first time is wild.
(Picking it up tomorrow … the buying experience has not been the smoothest but could just be my location, end of quarter, etc. Bit of a dog and pony show and very un-Elon like but I’m still unbelievably excited.)

This clip really showcases the difference between a human driver and Tesla FSD. FSD sees the (stupid) person crossing the road at night and slows down for them, meanwhile a human driver from the other direction nearly runs down the pedestrian. Should the person not be crossing there? Absolutely! But that’s beside the point - the reality is pedestrians do unpredictable things, and FSD is always watching for that to happen. @wmorrill3 Be awesome to have an auto hitch feature using AI to back up and lower suspension to connect to my trailer. Need better rear camera solution especially when tailgate is down and of course range. Really wanted that range extender option to have when towing. Still my favorite truck
