One of my dangerous realizations from Charlie Kirk's assassination is that assassinations work The left mocks the "great man" theory but it is basically true. If you kill a uniquely powerful or effective person, you can decapitate a movement Ken wants his opponents decapitated. He is eager for someone to "misunderstand" his words and take inspiration from his desires and shed blood. There isn't really a good solution to this outside of stripping him of his license to practice law for this encouragement of murder. But most of his colleagues agree with him because every institution is hopelessly corrupt.

Before Batman: The Animated Series (1992) was approved, Bruce Timm and Paul Dini created a short proof of concept to show Warner Bros Animation the show's tone and style. This short helped get the series greenlit, and much of it was incorporated into the iconic opening intro.

Me: in Japanese supermarket at midnight. only people there: me, one exhausted cashier, and mysterious old woman moving silently between aisles. I grab frozen food. suddenly hear old woman behind me whisper: Not that one. I turn around, she points at different brand. Woman: That one tastes like regret. then disappears behind shelves. five minutes later she reappears beside instant noodles. Woman: Too salty. vanishes again. this woman was operating like supermarket ghost spirit. eventually I reach checkout. Cashier sees my basket and nods approvingly. Cashier: Ah, Grandma got to you. Me: ...what. Cashier: She protects young bachelors from bad purchases. I look around, woman gone. Cashier: Last week she made student cry for buying raisin potato salad.
