@WayfairUK I’ve been in touch but just been told this happens and get back in touch in a few days if the items don’t arrive. This was obviously an automated chat and not an actual person. Is it really that difficult to keep track of your deliveries?

@WayfairUK Total lack of communication. Told our order won’t arrive. Then we could cancel for a refund. Then no refund as our order is shipped. Still marked for delivery today. We’re perplexed and getting angry. Help!

@WayfairUK WayfairUK you have done the same to me in conjunction with @dhlexpressuk Delivery dates not met, time wasted waiting, zero communication, just a chatbot spouting excuses. I try not to use Amazon all the time, but they are so competent it’s hard to look elsewhere

A Turkish flight bound for the UK was diverted after a violent altercation erupted between passengers. The shocking footage shows multiple passengers involved in physical violence and...somebody said open the door😳 mid air? Great British brawl in the sky.

My Dad is 70 in December so as a family we bought him a new Range Rover that we are collecting now. Look at this for build quality - I mean it beggars belief! I wouldn’t mind too much if it was for me, but he’s had a bad health year and this was meant to be a special day.

🚨Formal Complaint Concerning Article in The Spectator: “And now let’s bomb Glastonbury” The Commissioner @metpoliceuk @MetCC Dear Commissioner I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the article published by The Spectator on 5 July 2025, entitled “And now let’s bomb Glastonbury”. It can be accessed via the following link: spectator.co.uk/article/and-no… The article poorly cloaked in satire appears to advocate, encourage, or glorify the use of a bomb (nuclear weapon) to target and kill attendees at Glastonbury Festival, an identifiable civilian population. The piece states, inter alia: “A small yield nuclear weapon … would immediately remove … everybody who is hugely annoying” This language cannot credibly be interpreted as mere satire or hyperbole It constitutes a call for mass lethal violence against a specific group of individuals attending a well-known, peaceful music festival Whilst it refers to a nuclear weapon those encouraged may utilise a conventional or improvised explosive device or other act of violence The headline alone may be sufficient to meet the threshold of a criminal offence noting that much of the context is behind a paywall I believe this may breach a number of criminal laws, including the following: 1. Section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2006 – Encouragement of terrorism It is an offence to publish or cause another to publish a statement that is likely to be understood by members of the public as a direct or indirect encouragement or other inducement to the commission, preparation, or instigation of acts of terrorism. While the article references a nuclear weapon (a weapon of mass destruction), its context and intent must be considered carefully. Should it be interpreted as serious or inciting violence, even through provocation or humour, it may fall within the remit of this section 2. Section 4 of the Public Order Act 1986 Fear or provocation of violence It is an offence to use threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence will be used against them, or to provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence 3. Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 Harassment, alarm or distress Even absent an intent to incite violence, words likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to the public may constitute an offence. Given the real-world implications and visibility of this article, this provision is clearly engaged 4. Section 127, Communications Act 2003 Criminalises grossly offensive or menacing messages sent via public communications networks 5. Part III, Public Order Act 1986 Prohibits publishing material likely to stir up racial hatred against ethnic or national groups. In this case references are made to Palestinian symbols therefore hatred against Muslims, Arabs and Palestinians I respectfully request that the Met Police conduct an investigation into this article & determine whether any criminal offence has been committed by: The author; The editors; The Spectator In my opinion the article appears to breach the threshold for incitement or encouragement of violence under UK law & may pose a serious threat to public safety, particularly in the context of rising tensions over political protests and state discourse around Palestine and related activism In an environment where public protest & legitimate criticism are being scrutinised under counterterrorism laws, it is essential that calls for lethal violence, even couched in “provocation,” be taken seriously regardless of the political or cultural affiliations of the author or the publication Note the Home Secretary’s decision to lower the threshold of terrorism to matters of protest evidenced by the Police arresting alleged supporters of Palestine Action today which means this article must have blasted through that threshold with the force of a ballistic missile, if the law is to be applied with even a flicker of consistency I would be grateful to be updated

Infected is the second album by THE THE, released on Some Bizzare/Epic Records on this day 17 November 1986. The album produced four UK singles, including their best-selling single ‘Heartland’, which reached 29 and spent 10 weeks on the chart, ‘Infected’ (UK #48), ‘Slow Train to Dawn’ (UK #64) and ‘Sweet Bird of Truth’ (UK #55). Although it only peaked at 14 in the UK Albums Chart, it stayed on the chart for 30 weeks, making it by far THE THE’s most commercially successful album. #THETHE #MattJohnson #Infected #Heartland #SweetBirdOfTruth #MercyBeat #Anniversary #MattJohnsonTheThe #ThisIsTheDay

They partied , they bet on elections , they crashed the economy, they broke every public service, they destroyed integrity and honesty in public office , they paid their mates billions , they put their friends in the House of Lords, they gave their cronies knighthoods, they went into the jungle , they lied again and again, they were convicted by police, they went on holiday when they shouldn’t and they have the cheek to question Keir Starmer’s work ethic. I would never take anything for granted but I hope they are annihilated on Thursday. The worst people and government we have ever had! P.S good afternoon all 😊❤️

I’ve seen some shocking output from people with big audiences and left wing media outlets in recent weeks, it’s escalating. I urge people to take responsibility and think about the influence they have, especially considering the rise in hate crimes since the awful events in the Middle East. People have accused me of sitting on the fence, condemned me for condemning the horrific attack in Israel alongside the horrific retaliation on Gaza. I’ve been accused of being a cop out for not “picking a side” I’m not betting on a football match, this isn’t Man United vs Arsenal, this is the senseless loss of civilian life for fucks sake. I’m on the side of innocents that will never grow up or grow old, that are caught up in the brutal wars of powerful angry men. I’m on the side of civilians, I want diplomatic deescalation, calm, a ceasefire. Not to “other” people or in any way contribute to unrest or harm by reacting emotionally to something I don’t fully understand the history and nuance of, or the truth about. I don’t pick and choose which global atrocity with a horrific loss of civilian life, that I condemn. People that I’ve seen stay silent about the Uyghurs, about Yemen, about Syria are latching on to this undeniably brutal conflict, only they know why. I’ve seen this conflict cause some people to say the quiet part out loud, overt antisemitism and Islamophobia, it’s even caused some journalistic outlets to show obvious personal preference and bias, it’s deeply worrying. I have influence so have been deliberately moderate, calling for a stop to this senselessness because I could foresee that there would be an increase in hate crimes, that this government of deplorable opportunists would see this as a gift to increase division to deflect from their crimes. I could foresee religious unrest. I could foresee people picking a side and screaming at the other when it’s powerful men in suits or men with guns that have all the power as civilians pay the price for their rage. It’s futile, there are lots of good people in Israel that condemn the behaviour of Netanyahu. There are good people in Gaza that condemn Hamas. Those good people are dead or at risk of death. People are not their governments. Creating division and hatred will prolong the suffering of innocent civilians, whether in Gaza or on the streets of Belgium when radicalised people inevitably go rogue. This will escalate and only those without power, who are not responsible, will suffer. My content is all focused on domestic British politics. I have shortcomings regarding geopolitics but I know right from wrong. I have a big audience I will never use it to “other” people or make one group of people the enemy. I refuse to be forced to bay for the blood of a particular team, I refuse to see one tragedy or death as more important than another. I refuse to do my bit to make a tragic situation worse. Call it a cop out, call it fencesitting, I don’t give a fuck. I’m not here to contribute to the divisions which are capitalised on by this government or the hate which causes wars that I condemn. I’m on the side of civilians. The world leaders, the men with the power to make this stop, refuse to. They do not deserve that power, they cannot be trusted with it and they will not personally face the consequences of their actions, it’s criminal. People with big audiences need to think about the consequences, the language they use and the optics, considering an increase in hate crimes. It’s a responsibility that should be taken very seriously, I take it extremely seriously which is why (despite having little to no power) I’ll continue to call for a ceasefire, peace, decency and diplomacy. I just want it to stop. Stop killing innocent people.
