RIP Gene Hackman
Whether hero or villain, comedy or tragedy and whether an introspective or extravagant role, he could do it all. We will not see his like again. #genehackman
Gene Hackman has passed away at the age of 95.
Gene was one of the greatest actors of his, or anyone's generation. He was a powerhouse, as adept at comedy as he was drama. Today is a very sad day, we've lost a legend. Gene was a giant of cinema.
R.I.P Gene Hackman
The funniest thing in sports each year remains Jerry Jones deliberately building a stadium that sears the retinas of his own players on an annual basis and costs them touchdowns.
1/ WGGB strongly opposes @ITV s recent decision to appoint a Head of Generative AI Innovation, whose role will include using technology to help create ‘shows, films and digital-first content’
Many congratulations to Vere Harmsworth, currently director of publishing strategy at the Daily Mail’s parent company dmg media.
Staff have just been told he’s been promoted to chief commercial officer. Incredible effort to secure such a senior job at the age of just 29.
Started watching Industry. It is pretty good and very perceptive of white collar workplaces, but also an absolute pressure cooker of a show I can only watch for one episode at a time.
@ChrisLittle1983 Here’s the thing I thought yesterday. Because of the O-Line and Brissetts limited ability, I have NO idea whether we have any game changers. We like Pop, Polk looks fun. But are they top tier? No idea. Jacoby lasers in on Henry and Hooper when he does get time.
On the Maye situation. It’s tricky. It’s easy to say he will bring a spark. But it’s also be easy to find countless examples of young QBs being ruined by poor protection and a muddy game plan.
