Breen said this was "so much contact" and Legs thought there was a lot of contact to the back of Amen's head. But the replay disproves that. The block is clean, and we know that after that, the rest of the minor contact is deemed marginal. And I just don't see contact to the head

If expansion must happen (I'd prefer relocation personally) then Seattle is a no-brainer. But there are lots of markets that make a lot more sense to me than Las Vegas.

@stentordoc @czabe This is a fairly underwhelming highlight reel. To think this is better than LeBron is pretty crazy.

@czabe After refreshing one’s memory with highlights like these, the Jordan versus LeBron debate is laughable

It’s been a couple weeks since I did a update on overall dividend income. Currently running at a rate of 763K annually. I’ve picked up a lot of new followers in the last couple of days. The most important stat to me on this page is that my Yield on cost is higher than my yield. That means in layman’s terms that my portfolio is worth more than I paid for it. (overall no NAV loss). To me this is important. After all what good is making 63K a month if you have to give part of it back to cover NAV losses.

@MichaelAArouet People fail to understand than your personal home is an expense, not an investment. Comparing that to the market is apple and oranges. Outside of that, a home you don’t live in is absolutely fair game for comparing against the market and the market will win almost every time.

My new standard when going out to dinner is a 15% tip and I don’t even feel guilty about it anymore. Everyone is going through financial struggles. I’ve got a mortgage to pay. I’m not going to add 20% to my bill for no reason.

@Jacobtheclipper My god this is awful basketball. No pace, lazy defense, catches allowed inside the arc without even a contest. Looks like an average pickup game nowadays.

Cinematic quality first 3 minutes of the 1998 Game 6 NBA Finals. Look at all the amazing ball movement and sets. Basketball used to be such art 🔥

3 minutes of QUALITY basketball March 22, 1998 Young Billups and T-mac vs Jordan Look at the range of shots being taken: We have post play, midrange, dunks, actual sets/plays, and the game isn’t just accidental basketball full of GARBAGE 3 point chucking. Also high level defense and effort!! Make the NBA watchable again 👊🏼

@thewealthdad Styles are still quite different if you know what you are watching, but the ratings decline is real. That said, important to separate regular season from playoffs. Playoff basketball is still some of the best sports viewing there is.

Used to be fun to watch your favorite NBA teams with your boys. Teams were unique. Team A might have big low post hook shot C, free throw and in PF, quirky PG with handles who hit occasional 3. Team B had athletic smooth SG, slashing wing, undersized 4-5. Clash of styles to see which team could adapt better to the other. Now *all* 30 teams look and play the same. 1-2 ball dominate guards with 3-4 3-D wings/stretch bigs standing at 3 point line. No clash of styles, just go to the box score and see who shot and made more 3s. NBA viewership tanking is no surprise, and Lebron and Steph are keeping the league on life support. Once they're gone, gonna be spooky times for the NBA.
