Olga Skabeyeva known as Putin’s ‘Iron Doll’ clearly stated; “Trump does not set any conditions for Russia and Putin. Only for Zelensky and Ukraine”
𝔗𝔯𝔲𝔱𝔥 𝔐𝔞𝔱𝔱𝔢𝔯𝔰@politicsusa46

I just want to spell this out so that even a child can understand. Last night on live TV in Russia, presenters gloated about Putin’s new alignment with the US on Ukraine. One even hoping for an alliance against ‘satanic Europe’ Olga Skabeyeva known as Putin’s ‘Iron Doll’ clearly stated; “Trump does not set any conditions for Russia and Putin. Only for Zelensky and Ukraine” Just take a moment to absorb that. In an unimaginable act of betrayal. What can only be described as an American Russian puppet, has taken the decision to castrate the Ukrainian military and be complicit in the murder of women and children, in the country of an ally whose soldiers served on the battlefield of Iraq with his own. Overnight, Russians hit a Hotel in Kyiv in which both American and UK aid workers were staying. Fortunately they escaped injury, but no thanks to Trump Trump is a traitor to his country. He is compromised and as such, is a Russian asset sat behind the Resolute desk. There can be no other conclusion one can draw. This makes the Republican Party complicit in all current attacks on Ukraine and responsible for any resulting deaths. Tragically, I only hear a handful of Democrats sharing my outrage too. I am a HUGE admirer of @BarackObama and @BillClinton but in this critical moment, their silence is frankly deafening. WHY gentlemen why? President Obama really should feel ashamed right now. In 2014 he and UK Prime Minister David Cameron reneged on the Budapest Memorandum, which gave security assurances that the U.S. and the UK would aid Ukraine in the event of aggression from Russia. Their excuse? An ‘assurance’ is NOT a ‘guarantee’. They say, ‘What’s in a word?’ Well 153,000 dead Ukrainians was what’s in that word. To add insult to injury, a felonious US President is now colluding with America’s oldest adversary to lift sanctions, pause offensive cyber operations and deny Ukraine vital intelligence. This WILL lead to the loss of life. It is beyond shameful. America seems completely oblivious to the fact that this dovetails into the theft of classified documents after Trump was dragged kicking and screaming from the White House. Not to mention the meeting Trump had with Putin in Helsinki and the meeting with Russian officials in the White House, where translators were removed from the room. So my question is, what does Trump have to do to prove he is an existential threat to US national security? This is like watching a Hollywood movie. The President of the United States has appointed a defense and security team in which his Director of National Intelligence is credibly suspected of being sympathetic to the Kremlin. And his Secretary of Defense is too dumb to recognize a threat if it smacked him in the face. A guy who would sell his country out for a blond he can knock around and a crate of whisky. What could possibly go wrong? There’s no wonder Trump ‘loves the poorly educated’. That’s one thing, but then add a Republican caucus cowering in a corner screaming, ‘Please don’t hurt us’. This defines the point at which you have created the perfect permissive environment in which to overturn 80 years of alliances and global security. Trump is a man who in business showed no loyalty to his country. He dodged the draft, persistently dodged paying his taxes and stole from his own charity. What on earth makes anyone think he has a grain of loyalty, morality or decency in this moment? His alignment with Putin is clear evidence that because of him, America is weak and less safe. Putin is now driving American foreign policy and bragging about it on Russian prime time TV. So my simple question to Republicans is this, WHAT WILL IT TAKE? What will it take to really PUT AMERICA FIRST right now? Because the U.S. is about to be abandoned by all its allies and friends all for a Russian asset to be installed in the Oval Office. Trump said looters should be shot and here he is, looting America. Make it make sense.

Russia’s leaders have said nothing about peace. They have made a list of demands on the US, the fulfillment of which allows them to broaden the war against Ukraine. And the US simply fulfills all of these Russian demands without question. That is only a peace process in the Orwellian sense.

My @ProbSolveCaucus Caucus Co-Chair @RepTomSuozzi and I joined @kaitlancollins tonight to talk about standing firmly with Ukraine, the road ahead, and why true leadership means finding common ground to get things done. America’s strength has always come from unity and resolve—now is the time to prove it. Watch here: ⬇️

Russian FM Lavrov says Moscow will not "compromise" on the potential deployment of European peacekeepers in Ukraine as a prerequisite for peace. More than that, Lavrov reveals Russia's hand here: "If you put troops in a territory, you probably don't want to negotiate any conditions, because you're creating facts on the ground." I've said it before and I'll say it again. Russia is lying about having any intentions to negotiate. Russia is not really interested in peace - Lavrov confirms as much here. They are playing for time, delaying the negotiations, to keep the war going.

Brian Kilmeade went rogue in a rare moment of pushing back against the Fox News narrative. The network has been split regarding the Ukraine war since it started. Some Fox hosts still support Ukraine and are critical of Russia.

@elonmusk Countries that join NATO aren't invaded if they disagree with the US (see Hungary and Turkey). Countries that are captured by Russia (or USSR) are (see Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and Ukraine).

Excellent point. Trump felt that the US could negotiate a deal between Russia and Ukraine without Ukraine or Europe. The US can't be an effective mediator when it embraces the talking points of one side and attacks the other.
Michael McFaul@McFaul

Even if you honestly think this, what U.S. national security objective is advanced by going on television and trashing Zelensky? I honestly don't get it, unless Trump was never interested in peace at all and will now use this debacle to walk away from mediation and just embrace Putin.

@DC_Draino Capitulating to tyrants never leads to lasting peace. Peace through strength. Trump needs to apply pressure to the aggressor, Putin. If Russia stops attacking Ukraine, the war ends. If Ukraine stops defending, Ukraine ends.

So let me get this straight NATO, the EU, legacy media, and Democrats are all mad at Trump because he wants a *peace deal* in Ukraine instead of WW3? Make it make sense
Alex Pfeiffer@Pfeiffer47

Amazing explanation of the situation from @SecRubio: "Shouldn't we all be happy that we have a President that is trying to stop wars and prevent them instead of start them?... We are trying to end a war. You cannot end a war unless both sides come to the table."

Exactly. When Russia invaded Ukraine, few thought it would survive a week. The only way that Ukraine remains free is if it keeps fighting. A ceasefire without guarantees will only lead to more bloodshed and a broadened conflict.
