@SouthernRailUK Is the wrong answer. "tickets are getting accepted on another train company that tickets are valid on anyways". Bizarrely, @SW_Help were better by confirming local acceptance on buses (I know, I'm surprised too). How do I complain about you intentionally misleading customers?
🎟️ To further assist you with your journey this evening, you can use your ticket on the following at no extra cost 👇
🚆 Southern and Thameslink services via any reasonable route, including between Brighton/the coast and London
🚌Stagecoach 700 bus route between Littlehampton, Chichester, Havant and Portsmouth.
🕜 Please continue to allow extra time and check before you travel, as it will take you longer to reach your destination.

@darrengrimes Given you're such an expert on the subject can you, rather than posting rhetoric, explain exactly how either of these convictions are not aligned with sentencing guidelines, so we can understand the point you're trying to make?
🚨 TWO-TIER JUSTICE ALIVE AND WELL 🚨
A man who strangled a railway worker, leaving him struggling to breathe, during a ticket dispute has been jailed for just 16 months.
Mohamed Kadir, 29, refused to leave a first-class carriage, then grabbed a member of staff by the neck and throttled him before screaming abuse at others. Police say he showed no remorse for the attack.
Meanwhile, Lucy Connolly got 31 months in prison for a tweet.
This is Britain in 2025:
Post a tweet = 31 months.
Strangle a man = 16 months.
Justice isn’t blind — it’s politically motivated.

When your day starts with an email from @HMRCgovuk saying you owe tax, likely because @PHU_NHS financial incompetence extends to continuing to pay their staff after they've left. Queue a fun day of emails to @NHS_SBS because they also haven't bothered to issue me a P45. Sigh.
@ohmyinja@darrengrimes@ReformUKSam Whilst I don't disagree this is horribly disrespectful, you don't win the argument by bringinf up things that are decades old like they are disrespectful to things happening today. Do better.
Yes I know taxes that our taxes pay their wages but the billions wasted on illegals when 🪣⛺️ should be ok for them in abandoned airfield until asylum application granted and stop them prowling our unsafe streets why do these deserve all they get plus how many are fleeing wars and billions on a war that’s not our flag millions to a known terrorist country foreign aid should be stopped for 5years as well
Do not agree that we need to sort out our back yard before any monies go elsewhere
@darrengrimes Stop punishing the UK tax payers and using us a cash cow
Billions could be saved by stopping everything given to the criminals (illegals) any more cash freebies ⛺️🪣 each in a secure compound until asylum applications processed
@darrengrimes Since when is asking someone if they're OK painful? Unless you are the sort of person who doesn't give a shit about other people I guess...
Day 2 of @goldentouchfest today. A full day of it (meaning eating a super early lunch so I can spend more time watching music!)
Doors in 15 minutes meaning I better get my skates on.
Here’s a list of who I saw yesterday evening at the festival.
If Growing Up is optional, where better to not grow up than @BrewdogWaterloo - taking my mum and her partner here to experience all the silliness. And a lot of fun it is!! #CraftBeer#slide#growingupisoptional
