Ronald Acuna Jr is the best player on the team. Yes he’s been bad this year but to pretend he wasn’t great before getting hurt last year. He had an awful series but he will bounce back. Anyone talking about trading him stop please.

The Nats relievers got Harris, Tromp and Ronnie out and threw 2 strikes…. If those 3 went up without a bat the Braves win this 3-2. This team has completely abandon the approach that had the offense rolling in March. Ronald Acuña hasn’t had a clutch moment for this team since sometime in 2023.

There is a likely possibility that giving a 35/36 year old Mike Yastrzemski a 2 year 20 million dollar contract was a really poor decision especially after giving the cheater 3/45m a year earlier who was returning from a PED suspension.
A month and half in and there have been no signs of life or turn around for Yaz. He isn’t even hitting the ball hard anymore like he was early on.
It’s ugly guys. Something needs to give soon.
