He posted a 2 WAR and a 97 wRC+ season in 2025 playing with a torn labrum That was 18th amongst all catches and 2nd amongst catchers who played under 100 games. 2 WAR means he gave Atlanta about 20m worth of production. He hasn’t been a superstar but he’s far from “fucking terrible”. There are literally other fan bases on Twitter this morning drawing up mock trades to get him on their team.
