On this day in 1944 American Paratroopers were loading aircraft and jumping into France behind (that was the plan anyway...) enemy lines 🇺🇸
If I had to be a part of that operation I'd 100% pick to jump in at night rather than storm the beach in broad daylight. Either way was VERY risky but I'd have more confidence I'd live if I jumped in.
I wonder what the stats on that are? I could be totally off but that's what my gut tells me...
