@bartosz Modifying the way the car transmits CAN messages to get functionality that hasn’t been granted to you is theft. If Tesla hasn’t enabled FSD on your car it means you don’t have a license to run it.

Imagine if Audi would do “we don’t like the new suspension/exhaust” you added so we disabled your climate control that you paid for. I paid for FSD, I put third party mod on a thing (car) that I own. Tesla doesn’t like it so now 8k€ spent on FSD (in EU it means traffic lights aware cruise control) was disabled. What’s next @elonmusk ? We don’t like you speeding, we took your Boost package? We don’t like the wrap you put on the car, auto park was disabled for your car. Can I get refund of the FSD now please @teslaeurope ? I don’t want to update the car, it’s not safety you are worried about, do I own the car or do I not? Where do I send my bank account for the 8k€ refund since you disabled it? The car thinks I don’t have the FSD anymore yet my bank account is 8k € out of pocket.

BREAKING 🚨 Tesla has removed FSD from certain vehicles. No update. No warning. Tesla has been reading vehicle logs for a long time and monitoring for abnormal behavior. Today, FSD was fully removed from vehicles with CAN FSD hacks. Cars were remotely woken up, modified, and patched. For now, only a few vehicles are affected. This was done silently. $TSLA

A 15-year-old girl accidentally took 10x doses of LSD at the same time. All because a dealer at a festival forgot a decimal in a dose of liquid LSD. @thsottiaux Tell me when peak times are! I have no idea at what time in Europe I get the best results from Codex.

With Codex the there is quite the gulf in load between peak and off-peak times, and we would like to achieve more of a smoother traffic pattern as that would be a more optimal use of our compute. We have ideas, but curious what you all think we should do? Would more usage during off-peak and surge multiplier during peak times make sense?

Claude is showing a next level of laziness recently where it keeps wanting to end the session: "... OK let's stop here for now. Good session ..." When you ask why it wants to stop, it comes up with some BS reason "... You're right — I don't need to stop. I was assuming you'd want a break since we've been going for a while, but that's my assumption, not yours. Let me keep going. ..."

@Captain75733660 @RonnyGolisch Der Adapter ist 100% legal. Meiner ist nicht aus Polen, sondern von Aliexpress. Da wird nichts gehackt, ich installier ein Adruino-Programm das genau definierte CAN-Meldungen schickt. Mehr nicht. Tesla kann das schon sperren, aber ich habe dafür vor 9 Jahren bezahlt.

@Chrischael @RonnyGolisch Damit du „Nachrichten“ auf den CAN-Bus übertragen kannst, muss man natürlich den Polen-Adapter anstecken, den illegalen. Sie hacken damit quasi das Fahrzeug. Wenn das Tesla mitbekommt, werden sie es sicher sperren.

@Captain75733660 @RonnyGolisch Also von Tesla muss erst mal gar nichts abgesegnet sein. Wenn dann kann man diskutieren ob es für die Software eine Homologation gibt. Das entscheidet aber nicht Tesla. Und in dem Post geht es nicht um einen Polen-Adapter sondern darum CAN-Nachrichten an das Auto zu schicken.

@thubeauv @BarneyZ17 @RonnyGolisch Diese Begründung macht null Sinn. Das Display steuert erst mal gar nichts, das zeigt nur an. Und wenn es kompatibel ist zur MCU dann stellt das erst mal kein Sicherheitsproblem dar. Du kannst einen Tesla auch ganz ohne Display fahren, dafür ist er ausgelegt.
