@FoodProfessor Can’t help but think there are 2 other factors impacting grocery store profits. 1. More people buying groceries because of immigration influx in Canada. 2. Less people eating at restaurants because it’s way too expensive (therefore buying more groceries). It’s all about margins

What amazes me in 2023 is how many have embraced the "record profits" rhetoric, accusing companies of greed, profiteering along the way. Companies are supposed to generate "record profits" as this is how inflation functions. Or else, our economy would eventually contract.

@HWDSB All due respect @hwdsb, but are you ready?? I mean, you can’t even provide teachers assigned to teach full time virtual now with adequate tools (technology) to do their jobs. Many are forced to use personal devices and computers, which is not right.

@HWDSB In the spirit of all doing our part to reduce the spread of the flu and COVID, perhaps the board should allow the hundreds of remote teachers out there to work from home if they have a suitable space. Instead they are being made to drive to schools and work in empty classrooms.
