Look the 4th picture over carefully. This is NOT adding a few extra meters to the ends of the Runways. Jets will be taking off and landing RIGHT in front of Ontario Place! This is insane!

The environmental assessment (EA) of jets at the island airport says jet blast deflectors would range from 14 to 19 feet. There would be deflectors also along the side of the runway, plus sound walls. Also jet blast wind could cause small recreational boats to become unstable 1/2

Ticket resale is out of control. Brokers scoop up massive batches of tickets just to resell, leaving fans out in the cold. And the prices are insane. Enough is enough. Glad there is some movement on this issue.

BREAKING: Doug Ford is banning the resale of tickets for more than face value in Ontario. The government did not say exactly when the resale cap will come into effect, but that once it does, it will apply to all ticket resales going forward.

Am I the only one who sells my used cars for like $500 anymore?
I swear, when I unloaded my kid’s starter cars, I’d just be like, “I don’t know, you got $500 cash?”
I mean, I get that sometimes every dollar matters for some.
But I’m always just thinking, “if it gets you to work for a few months or more, you can basically have it.”
But I see the same kind of cars on lawns for like $1,500-$2,000.
It’s nuts.
Be generous. Help someone out who maybe REALLY needs it.

Everyone’s printer needs are different but if you are like me and only printout text documents in B&W, Brother laser printers are a revelation. They will keep printing through a nuclear war.

@terry_truchan How did the NEP propose to supply all of Canada? How did it propose to build refineries to supply the Can. market? The oil shock led to line 9 to supply Montreal refineries. In the nineties imported oil became cheaper and line 9 was reversed making Quebec and Ontario happy.

@TDotResident Actually, the HOV off hours thing comes from executives who wake at 4am and are on the road by 5 going into the city. They leave the office by 3pm. They want access to HOV lanes between 5-7am and 3-4pm. These are the ppl writing campaign cheques for Ford

I genuinely don’t get the concept of paying to run a marathon. 🤣
Like you can literally wake up, step outside, and run the same 5 km for free. No entry fee, no registration, nothing.
