You don’t live in our bodies You don’t spend YEARS trying to find the right medications, therapies, surgeries. . . Yet you feel the right to tell us what our #doctors can prescribe us to treat our dibilitating medical conditions That’s insanely inhumane #PROP #Chronic #pain

more beneficial for me to work, raise my kiddos, pay my bills or be completely crippled all so we can say we lowered my dose??? How is my RX medication being aggressively tapered “the goal” or better for me when I can NO longer function from crushing #chronic #pain ??? ⚖️

I keep telling my doc that I cannot go any lower in dose but the taper still continues ??? This is not medicine #chronic #pain #cpp

Lucky to have some of the best specialists around the world that decided what surgeries, therapies, medications, classes, best support my challenging very painful diseases. Yet I’m still shamed for taking legal highly monitored RX. #chronic #pain stop the stigma & #discrimination

Changing the narrative is one of the biggest challenges #chronic #pain patients face-inaccurate info or cherry picked data creates stigma on top of discrimination. Every BODY is different what works for some may not for others ect don’t belittle others for wanting a better QOL

Please help respond! If you have #chronic #pain were you prescribed pain medication & if so did it improve your quality of life or not? #opioids #NEISvoid Were you forced tapered or unable to get reg dose? Took RX over +20 years it allowed me to work & raise family #stigma

@ChronicPain18 THAT I understand, the relief of not having to deal with the #gaslighting and the subsequent #ptsd that comes with it was HUGE. I hope you figure a way to get what you need without all that♡

@Barbarajaxsmom2 @totochaos I am so sorry. had the exact same situation but the other docs in the clinic would not even give me anything. I ended up waiting over 4yrs trying to find a doc that would even accept me as a patient. This is something that should never happen. No safety nets for us-or compassion

@ChronicPain18 @totochaos I know that pain well. I've been on heavy meds for 15 years. But my dr had an accident and then retired. Nobody in his office to take over. I received 1 month partial meds and now left me hanging with no meds!! 2 1/2 weeks now with no meds and 2 was away from pain mgmt appt.

I have to keep reminding myself that it’s is impossible for my family & doctors to even grasp or understand what this is like. . . The years upon years of endless torturous #chronic #pain and all the emotions that come with it. On Day 6 or 7 w/ no meds praying I make it out alive

@ChronicPain18 Like when you let go of the thing that you fought against for years .... yeah. I've experienced that relief and it is weird. You might have more free time and brainspace now. What will you do with the extra time and money? 💙 I hope you manage ok.

I honestly have given up seeking treatment for my #chronic #pain. The cost alone trying to access #therapies, #medications, #doctors, #surgeries, #medicalinsurance has surpassed my patience & broke my bank account. Weirdly I’m relieved 🤷‍♀️ it’s finally over

Since having my #opioid pain RX aggressively reduced I no longer can function. I can’t work. I can’t pay my bills. 3 young babies that DEPEND on ME. I NEVER would have brought innocent life into this world had I known +20yrs of treatment would go down the drain #chronic #pain
