@Duhlorean98 I've always argued that, I reckon Nolan should not have shown the explosion. Just cut to everybody's reaction of awe and shock the emphasize that realization of the terror they have all created.

The nuke moment is easily the weakest scene in Oppenheimer where it looks like a tiny gasoline explosion. I get that Nolan has an obsession with practicality but I wish the actual scene looked more like this clip. Should’ve used a CGI + archival footage approach.
