I just use forceful language in speech and writing because it's more interesting than hedging all the time. this can be mistaken as sneering or being angry I suppose
"Dinergoth" is an accurate term to describe an interesting trend in middle American culture but that article is seething and offputting in a way that any serious publication would have significantly edited
