Iran submitted its response to the US. Netanyahu was in the middle of a conference when he stepped out to take a phone call from Trump. Over an hour later, Trump delivered the American reply — and Iran’s response was completely rejected. It appears the President of the United States cannot respond to Iran without first consulting Netanyahu.
