🚨 Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas spoke on @CityCastDenver about DoBetterDNVR, claiming it’s “onerous” to answer our questions because they’re not “solution-oriented.” Here’s the truth: The overwhelming majority of my questions on #X come directly from YOU—concerned Denverites seeking transparency. Is Chief Thomas saying it’s too much work to inform the public? When progressives ask, “What are your solutions?” it’s just a deflection from their visibly failing policies. My solutions? ✅ Fully fund @denverpolice ✅ Defund HOST & ineffective harm reduction ✅ Prioritize housing + accountability ✅ Re-felonize drugs like m3th & f3ntanyl ✅ Harsher sentences for repeat/violent offenders ✅ End PR bonds ✅ Zero tolerance for public drug use/camping These are practical steps—some legislative, some policy changes @mikejohnstonco could enact now.
