@NYCMayor You absolutely MUST reform the Cityfheps voucher program. It's not working. Seriously. There's very little oversight of the players. Landlords regularly regularly just say "We Don't Accept Vouchers" with impunity. Call a few yourself.

@CityLimitsNews I know someone who works there. Very sad. At the location in the photo, there are no beds. Homeless men and women SIT in hard chairs to sleep. Its sad to see. If the city would offer a new location that would be good. There aren't enough beds for the homeless to go around.

CEO making 500k No staff No caseworkers Printers don’t work No ink for staff No paper to print housing package or documents for clients Security stealing Staff sexually assaulting people, running sex rings and the vulnerable that complain will be forced from shelter would make writers @SVUWritersRoom gag However if you murder someone you’re allowed to stay in the system. @NYPDPC four folks murdered and the predator is still in @NYCDHS shelter Serves no food but confiscates the homeless food stamps from their cards -the people resort to panhandling. At $5600. Per month per cot. If a homeless person is not housed in 2 years the shelter should be paid $1.00 One dollar per year. @SecretaryTurner Shelters are where NYC DSS needs to cut the strings BUDGET from. Not Burdening homeless individuals exiting shelter that will pay 40%of their gross income which is truly 55% of their net. Tax payers need to demand @NYCCouncil create real accountability and new contracts with measurable benchmarks and penalties from these poverty pimps and wayward hustlers. @homeless_new The NYC CityFHEPS program is run by the New York City Department of Social Services. DSS administers the program in concert w/ the Department of Homeless Services & the Human Resources Administration All three entities are tough to get specific answers from to help applicants
