Eagles on the Hudson🦅 Bald eagles are on the ice on the Hudson River during winter primarily to hunt for fish and conserve energy. I was fortunate enough to observe and capture some of their behavior amid the fury of ice floes and deep freeze. What an exhilarating experience!

@ClarkLa2 The top wavy lines are the normal tide predictions (blue) and the observed water level (red). The purple squiggly along the bottom is the difference in the two (the deviation from the standard tidal cycle). A notable and sudden spike indicates tsunami waves in this case.

@Above96th @NYPDCentralPark @CentralParkNYC I frequently walk in Central Park. Cyclists definitely ignore the red lights/walk signals. I have to look in BOTH directions and even behind me on sidewalks. And I have NEVER seen @NYPDCentralPark do anything about it. Especially dangerous on the hills.

I have been walking in Central Park every morning for five years. I have never seen @NYPDCentralPark pull over a single bicyclist. And hundreds run red lights every hour. c @CentralParkNYC
