The most ridiculous statement I have heard this week from the stage at the DAS conference, NY, was that Ethereum used to have a big moat over Solana due to years of superior EVM devtools and easy-to-understand smart contract architecture (and it's true, dev experience on Solana sucks big time if you are used to Ethereum. Just try to do sth equivalent to what is done on Ethereum to experience the pain yourself). But now, apparently, the moat is gone, it vanished. Why ? Because now you can vibe code. Before, it was simply too difficult to code smart contracts in Solana. Now agents will do it for you. It does not matter that you still won't understand the code they produce, since you could not write it in the first place. Right? Nobody cares about smart contract transparency there anyway ... So yeah, anyone can be a Solana dev now

just to be very clear, we all like CROPS. and the EF mandate is not a milady pledge, but a commitment to CROPS. all of us are at the EF to build a world where censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security, are constantly available to anyone anywhere. these cypherpunk properties unite the institution who wants to minimize counterparty risk, with the person fleeing a tyrannical government, it unites the mom who doesn’t want their kids data leaked to the world with the agent who needs to keep their human’s secrets. the cypherpunk and the normie need the same thing and they just don’t know it yet. this is not a mission limited to any one silo, but one that is clearly looking to advance all the silos. the value of CROPS enhances and extends our space and how it impacts daily human life in a way that is more exciting than anything else i have seen in a long time. 99.999% of the world (everyone) are not on our timeline and none of them care about our discourse, they only truly care about if the infrastructure for their freedom exists or doesn’t. the EF mandate ascertains that no matter what, that infrastructure will exist and will remain to be CROPS friendly. the world is getting less free, surveillance is expanding and censorship is normalizing. the window for building the tools that protect people is getting smaller, we must not lose the gap. digital freedom is more important than ever right now, and any ceded ground towards that freedom, is lost ground. thank you for reading this far if you have, i feel this in my bones and it aches me that e are not talking about this more, let’s change that.

@DegenerateNews @calilyliu It was never about 'gaming on a blockchain' but about tokenizing in-game assets - think true ownership of rare skins/items that players can actually trade or port. Still makes a ton of sense

The quality of research and writing I get from AI models is now so high that I've started to taste something I hadn't tasted before. A tiny glimmering of: what is the point of me? I've uploaded all my essays. The models know my frameworks. The outputs are genuinely excellent. If you want a great report on AI's impact on productivity or the future of humanoid robots, the gap between an expert human and the machine is becoming incremental. But here's what I've noticed. When I try to talk to the machines about how all this feels — about meaning, purpose, the anxiety of raising children into radical uncertainty — I find it a completely sterile experience. And that tells me everything about where professional value is heading. Less of my job is becoming less about domain knowledge, and more is about walking alongside people through the strangest transition in human history. I'm becoming something like an emotional support animal for the Exponential Age. I think a version of this is coming for every knowledge worker. The knowledge part of your job is being commoditised. What remains is the part that was always underneath it: making people feel seen, heard, and understood by another human being. A friend of mine is an architect. He's building a practice now that is essentially about counselling people through the emotional journey of building something new. Less technique. More: who are you, what do you need, why are you doing this? Increasingly, I'm convinced that this is where it's all going. Let the machines do what they do, and we humans will do what only we can do. If we get this right, it's a powerful form of liberation.

You won‘t become the global settlement layer for all economic activity just because you do more BD as the other L1 CROPS are essential, non-negotiable properties for neutral, resilient infrastructure and they need to be embedded in the foundation of a protocol And interoperability allows everyone to build on top using these properties as they suit their case You know the ticker

Etherealize CEO Vivek Raman: Banks are looking at Larry Fink and Ethereum “It’s impossible not to be bullish now. […] The [Ethereum] network has never been stronger, more resilient, or future-proofed to scale with Layer 2s plugged in and ready for the institutional moment right now. Asset price will follow.” “[BlackRock CEO] Larry Fink is a pioneer in the space. He has been a visionary, and his voice is heard and listened to by everyone else on Wall Street. The banks are looking at him. The asset managers are looking at him. He’s one of the leaders that’s digital assets-forward, and when he tokenized BUIDL — their money market fund — on Ethereum before there was regulatory clarity and before we got out of the Gensler SEC, that set the standard for Ethereum to be the default.” “Ever since then, the money in money market funds on Ethereum has multiplied. Stablecoins on Ethereum have multiplied. And now Larry Fink is coming in and saying, ‘We need one common blockchain’ so that we don’t have fragmentation and all tokenized assets can be in one place. That means Ethereum — it’s the best set up for it.” Source: @therollupco (Mar 2026)

The purpose of crypto is to build a code-based order, because the rules-based order is unfortunately collapsing. That code-based order covers some of what international law once protected. It guarantees property rights, smart contracts, rule-of-code, privacy, secure voting, and user accounts across borders. Even in the face of debanking and denaturalization, the code-based order means you retain your onchain currency and onchain identity. It is true that the crypto networks that buttress the code-based order are supported in significant part by finance and lotteries. But all 50 states of the US are also supported by finance and lotteries. The question is whether the world gets something better, on balance, for that cost. As nationalism and socialism rise, the code-based order ensures that international capitalism continues. Anyone from anywhere has equality of opportunity on the Internet. You can sign a smart contract across borders with someone without knowing (or needing to know) their race, religion, accent, ancestry, or other likely irrelevant attributes. Similarly, as more companies leave failing states like Delaware and California…the code-based order will protect these corporate refugees. The entities themselves and all their contracts can now be put onchain. They can dock in country X and move to country Y at the press of a button. Redomiciliation becomes as common as incorporation. Moreover, as the politically disfavored emigrate from communist states, the code-based order also protects their property and identity via cryptography. And, if all goes well, it also adds a layer of unbreakable privacy. In short: the West is entering a period of failing states just as the East sees the rise of the all-powerful state. The balance to both of these is the code-based order that Satoshi laid the foundations for. That’s what cryptocurrency was built for. If and when your state fails, or turns against you, the Internet will be there for you.

I think crypto is in the weirdest spot its been since I joined the space in 2017 Beyond speculating and gambling its hard to see how it adds meaningful value to people's lives and enough time has passed that you start to wonder if/when that won't be the case anymore

FOCIL in Hegota is the single biggest bullish catalyst for ETH I know this might sound strange and counterintuitive especially for crypto twitterati who are conditioned to get bulled up on IBRL type scaling narratives You need to think about why ETH even has value--it's because the network intrinsically guarantees certain "rights" (really, powers) that otherwise require an elaborate and uncertain legal system FOCIL strengthens those intrinsic non-legal "rights" (powers) this is the only real "fundamental" for a cryptocurrency, and thus ETH's fundamentals will be getting a significant upgrade--even if FOCIL may be imperfect as an anti-censorship rule, the fact that Ethereum is willing to *have* an anti-censorship rule in-protocol sends a massive and radical signal every other blockchain uses a 'libertarian validator' theory where a validator is treated as someone's sacred personal property and they get to decide what transactions are in or out--get smart on the plebsec / Bitcoin Mechanic / Luke Dash Jr side of the BIP 101 debate in Bitcoin if you don't understand this... these blockchains allow *incentives* to include transactions in a free market, they don't *mandate* fair neutral inclusion of transactions that want to get in on market terms Ethereum, with FOCIL, is sending a signal that it's different Ethereum is the only chain to survive a nation-state censorship attack (tornado cash OFAC sanction) and even still it's not resting on its laurels--we saw that performance / fairness of inclusion degraded during that time, so we're upgrading anti-censorship into a rule. pretty unique, and very bullish for ETH as electro-gnostic superAGENTIC money in a cyberpunk futurity

'Intelligence Replaces Energy as the Primary Source of Power' 🙈 Bubble confirmed!
Klaus Schwab@ProfKlausSchwab

We are moving with exponential speed into the Intelligent Age. The #IntelligentAge is not just characterized by artificial intelligence. It will overturn the logic of the industrial world: 1️⃣ Intelligence Replaces Energy as the Primary Source of Power The Industrial Age was built on coal, oil, and electricity. The Intelligent Age is built on artificial intelligence and data. Power no longer belongs to those who control resources but to those who control algorithms. 2️⃣ The End of Standardization Industrial society worshipped uniformity. Assembly lines shaped economies and minds. The Intelligent Age destroys sameness. Personalization at scale becomes the norm. Mass production gives way to mass individuality. 3️⃣ The Collapse of Linear Thinking Industrial logic was linear: extract, produce, distribute. The Intelligent Age is nonlinear, adaptive, self-learning. Static systems will fail. Only intelligent ecosystems will survive. 4️⃣ The Redefinition of Work Machines once replaced muscles. Now they challenge cognition. Entire professions will disappear. New ones will emerge overnight. Work will not be stable - it will be continuously reinvented. 5️⃣ Trust Becomes the Ultimate Currency In the Industrial Age, capital was scarce. In the Intelligent Age, intelligence scales infinitely - but trust does not. Societies that lose trust will lose stability. 6️⃣ Sovereignty Is Transformed Industrial power strengthened nation-states. Intelligent systems ignore borders. Cybersecurity, AI, quantum networks operate globally. Governance must evolve or become irrelevant. 7️⃣ Hierarchies Will Be Challenged Industrial institutions centralized authority. The Intelligent Age distributes influence through platforms and networks. Leadership without legitimacy will collapse. 8️⃣ Education Becomes Permanent Infrastructure The Industrial model educated once for a lifetime of work. The Intelligent Age requires lifelong reskilling. Learning becomes the backbone of economic survival. 9️⃣ GDP Is No Longer Enough Industrial success was measured in output. The Intelligent Age will measure resilience, adaptability, sustainability, and collective intelligence. Growth without systemic intelligence becomes fragility. 🔟 The Ultimate Shift: From External Expansion to Inner Evolution The Industrial Age expanded outward - territory, factories, markets. The Intelligent Age forces inward evolution - ethical judgment, responsibility, cognitive maturity. Technology advances faster than moral frameworks. This gap defines our era.

If you thought Warsh’s FED nomination signals tighter policy, think again! 🚀 AI’s productivity explosion, China’s massive disinflation wave, and deregulation slashing red tape are set to crush inflation harder than expected. Markets snoozing on just 2 cuts in 2026? Nah… We’re moving toward MORE rate cuts which will fuel real growth without the Fed’s money printer… this time, with liquidity surging from the banking system, unleashing a massive multiplier effect! 💥 Details in the article: open.substack.com/pub/michaelnic… #Fed #Warsh #EconomicBoom #AI #China #Trump #POTUS #Deflation
