@workhardnaphard @big_figgot B, it shouldn't cost that high. They need to bring costs down. I think the medical establishment needs big reform!

What happened to @big_figgot hits close to home for me. He could feel something was wrong with him and the Canadian healthcare system failed to help him. My husband was having chest pains, tachycardia, low energy, etc. earlier this year. We visited walk-in clinics several times. The hospital twice. He's seemingly healthy - they couldn't find anything wrong. He's on blood pressure meds now and that seems to have relieved symptoms. I feel so guilty now for doubting him at all during these visits, thinking he was just having anxiety attacks or something similar. The situation with Adam and my husband is too similar for comfort. It bothers me a lot. Adam should still be alive, and I think he would be if he was in our supposedly neglectful and unfair system. I know sometimes there's nothing anyone can do but we'll never know. Just a thought. Humans are fallible and our lives are fleeting. You can't love your loved ones too much.

@workhardnaphard @big_figgot My surgeon said that I still have the record for the biggest one in SC, perhaps other states, and the biggest he had worked on. I had an awesome surgeon. That shit cost $500K, I about shit that is half million...luckily my insurance paid it put I had to pay $20, that is good!

@workhardnaphard @big_figgot B, I am serious when I tell you this, Go get CT scans every few years on your Chest and Belly, that is where they are. They can get big in a little time. If he has High BP, he definitely needs a CT Scan. They'll want to do surgery when it hits 5cm because it can burst.

@workhardnaphard @big_figgot That is what happened to me, I had a huge aneurysm on my Aorta and it was collapsing my left lung. The hospital was so freaked out that they said "we can't help you , you gotta go somewhere" I went to the big University Medical Center in Charleston and had open heart surgery.

@DevThePatriot @big_figgot @ajlieshere That happened to me (an aneurysm, mine was on my Aorta), luckily that stumbled up on it. I would have died. I had a huge on, they said it was bigger than they had ever seen. This is a thing with men, usually caused from High Blood pressure uncontrolled. Get you both CT Scans

I'm off to bed and hold my husband. I'm so sad about the loss of @big_figgot and it just breaks my heart. My condolences to his family, to @ajlieshere. Life is precious, and it's very fragile. Make sure to tell people how much they mean to you when you can. Goodnight!
