@PONY_Official The Hobbit trilogy wasn't bad, but LotR is superior in every way IMO, except perhaps on the CGI quality of some scenes, but I far prefer the bigger reliance on practical effects that created.

I watch Hobbit and LOTR movies on repeat to vibe into sleep time. Keep fighting amongst yourselves, I’m over here in Middle-earth chilling with Gandalf and the bros if anyone wants to join to escape the noise.

Had a bit of a health scare last night, but thankfully it wasn't a heart attack. Not sure what it was, though, because once they made sure I wasn't dying I was thrown out into the waiting room and 6 hours later I said f*ck it and went home. Canadian health care, folks. Best in the world. I'll have to shave the rest of my chest, I guess.

@big_figgot Had pretty much the identical experience here in Manitoba 3 months ago, so I went home. Then, it took 3+ months to talk to my own Dr on the phone for a followup.

@Exx__Again @tisflying I get that it could have been a panic attack, but I've had those before years ago and it was a very very different sensation. It just seems like it's one of those "well I dunno and I'm I'm not going to look further into it but yeah let's go with that" conditions.

That's really shit. They should have checked your bloodwork for things like Troponin, They can simply have someone take the blood and test it and still ignore you for 7 hours which is what they did for me. But at least they have covered the bases if they do that. Also for other indicators that could show inflammation or other things that could be causing chest pain without being a heart attack. They first told me it was a panick attack and then did other tests that showed other causes for concern that might be causing refereed pain. (Then ignored me for 7 hours even though those tests were positive for an unrelated but concerning problem.) If you have trouble again go to a different emerg.

@big_figgot @tisflying Hmmm. that's strange, they should have done blood work for Troponin test: Measures the amount of troponin, a protein released into the bloodstream in heart attacks.

@Indy_Game_Dev I've had panic attacks before when I was younger and this seemed completely different to those. Can't rule it out but it's not my assumption

@tisflying They didn't even do any blood work or x-rays. I suppose that might have happened had I been willing to wait 18 hours more

@big_figgot Glad you’re ok! I had a similar situation a few weeks in the ER. EKG, blood work and x-ray showed everything fine. Still scary though, I know.

@RyanSturgi3700 I didn't feel panicked at all; it felt purely physical. Pain in the chest on the left side, nausea, clammy skin. Tried to just breathe a bit and see what happened but it started to get worse so I went to the ER.

Yeah, I’m not snuggling up with another dude. I’m also not having another dude snuggle up against me. I’m not gonna be the buns to his hot dog.
