@_LFGolf If playing a medal or comp, the important thing for me is the person not the H/C. I play off 2.7 and have played for 43 years and as long as we get on will play with anyone in a comp.

Is golf handicap important to you when it comes to groupings? I've seen low handicap players distance themselves from being paired with higher handicaps My Take: I don't think it's personal. Better players focus more when paired with better competition. Am I wrong?

@GolfMonthly 100% agree, I have played golf for 43 years, this is the 4th H/C system and it’s the worst by far. Agree with everything you say. I shot 74 gross and wasn’t even close to winning and the course adjustment now instead of CSS is a joke too. Why it’s over the whole day I don’t know

@4golfonline I’ve played competitive golf from the age of 12 and had 4 different H/C systems and this by far is the worst! As a single figure player most my life, now in comps it’s impossible to even get close to winning unless everything is scratch. Also the CCA doesn’t work. 🤷‍♀️

What do you think of the Golf Index’s, handicap rating system? Is it good bad, better or worse for those of you who have changed over the last few years (WHS for us UK golfers) I don’t have much to do with it, but the few times I have had to be part of scoring a card for someone etc etc I found some aspects of it very strange. What do you think?

I’m planning my first trip to the SW of 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 later this year. It’s a gaping hole in my British golf résumé. Does anyone have general tips or recommendations on good towns to stay in and places to sleep/eat/drink?! Favourite golf? I’ll share it all after the trip in a blog. Thx.
