@MarkOneIoM Yes, it will regarding wet weather. Also there is a risk of but by no means a certainty that the Isle of Man will be affected by gusty winds in next couple of days, however, it is where the position of the depression tracks that will determine reality.

@Cloudman60 I guess the Isle of Man will be affected too?

very cold start to the "season" across Scandinavia,, these temperatures would not be so uncommon in January or Feb, but in Mid November - They are Cold !!!

@MetJam_ @Petagna Hi Jamie, my guess it was the sudden switch from a southwesterly to a more turbulent northwesterly with a tightening pressure gradient that was behind the damage. Add to that the trees still in foliage, best wishes, Andy.

Lots of trees have been reported down in East Kent from #StormBenjamin moving through - NW direction has certainly caused more damage than we would expect normally in that area (usually from SW winds in a storm).
