Today we mark the 47th anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act, one of the most important commitments Congress has made to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific. We will continue to stand firm for peace and the right of people to determine their own future.

Today, the Supreme Court will hear arguments on President Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship, denying it for those born in the US to parents in the country undocumented or temporarily.

On the 67th anniversary of the Tibetan uprising, we stand with Tibetans in their struggle for peace. As His Holiness the Dalai Lama once made clear: “Peace can only last where human rights are respected, where the people are fed, and where individuals and nations are free."

How are we supposed to be the preeminent economy in the world & create American jobs & industry if the president won't talk about economic competition with China & the China shock?
