Schools that are serious about growing coaches - pay for professional development.
Admin that see it as another thing they have to do, don’t support coaching growth and don’t understand the importance it has on the school.
Blessed to have admin that fully understand and support our coaches.

We talk to a lot of coaches who tell us that schools no longer subsidize clinics. They also say these clinics would count towards professional development hours they needed each year but many schools no longer allowed that, either. There also is such great knowledge to be found on YouTube, X, etc from great coaches like @CoachMac8740, @fbcoachsimpson & hundreds of others so that you can learn ball remotely. Without the school helping with the cost, and with coaches still being INCREDIBLY underpaid, the hot to the wallet is too great to justify for many. That’s just our $0.02 What do y’all think?
