To the ones that don't always get recognized, your work does not go unnoticed

@JonPoorman @JFoch Will this school be NCAA certified? We are getting kids recruited to colleges only for them to be ineligible once they get there because their high school is not certified. I can’t imagine 2 hrs a day will cut it unless it’s a year round school.

What’s the deal with team tickets in Houston?
Typically the top seed of each game gets the seats behind their bench. But Illinois and UH both have those sections not Nebraska. Haven’t worked D1 in a while but also not the norm any other site.

Learned about something called a "glimmer" recently. It's the opposite of a trigger. A tiny moment that makes you feel good. Coffee hitting right. Sun on your face. Your dog losing its mind when you walk in the door. Most of us are trained to scan for threats all day. Flip that. Start scanning for glimmers. Same exact life starts feeling completely different.

met a kid at a coworking space last tuesday. 20 years old. makes $11k/month managing google ads for garage door companies.
i asked why garage doors.
he said "i typed random services into google maps and looked for businesses running terrible ads. garage door companies had the worst ads i had ever seen in my life. one of them was spending $4,000 a month sending traffic to a homepage with no phone number on it."
he emailed 60 of them. 9 replied. he closed 4 at $1,500/month and got them actual results within the first 3 weeks.
that was 7 months ago. hes at 8 clients now and just hired his first contractor.
he doesnt post content. he doesnt have a website. he has a gmail address and a google ads account and he picks niches by looking for people who are already spending money badly.
everyone wants to sell to sexy tech companies. this kid is getting rich off garage doors and he cant stop smiling about it.

Rolex just launched a trade school in Texas, not because they want free labor, but because they have to.
There simply aren’t enough watchmakers left to meet demand. Only ~2,000 in the whole country.
And here’s the kicker:
The program received 560+ applicants for just 27 spots, which is a ~5% acceptance rate, rivaling some top universities.
This shortage is an opportunity, not a niche.
