Never been a big fan of contact play w/ runners on 2nd & 3rd. You already have another guy in scoring position. Especially with MIF back. You have to see that ball clear that P. If it does there is no play at HP and it’s a tied game. If the pitcher fields it you hit the go ahead run at 2B.

3rd base coach instructions: "Contact, out by a lot get in a rundown." This play is absolutely preventable by Florida St. The runner at 3rd MUST invite a rundown here with the infield in and a runner at 2nd. You can't invite a double play by stopping short of a rundown.
