The gun/pistol triple option offense’s benefits & effectiveness stems from presenting a constant threat across multiple potential ball carriers on every play (fullback, quarterback, or pitch back).

@CoachDThompson1 For some reason it’s not letting me DM you but I’m installing the triple option from Pistol alignment, along with using the GoGo formation in shotgun

@CoachDThompson1 Coach I’m implementing the Gun Triple to our offense for next season. Would love to talk with you more about it if possible.

This creates a numbers advantage at the point of attack by effectively "canceling" a defender through the read process rather than a physical block.
