Average team's continuous possession phase lasts only about 25 to 30 seconds at pro level. So when talking positional play at youth level where a teams possession phase is more like 4 to 5 seconds. How do we go about coaching this and dealing with rapid transitions?

What an enjoyable and full on week I've just had in Sweden at the Gothia cup! Getting a U15s team up, fed, on 2 or 3 trams or buses to games, doing activities, all on top of coaching. This penalty shootout was one of many highlights from the week🔥

@CoachJButt Yeah we had that this year. Luckily all apart from 1 of the club officials backed us and they were removed. Don’t need those types of people around and the other parents were very relieved they’d gone.

Made a tough decision this week ... decided to step away from coaching. Came down to a select group of parents being extremely toxic and the club not backing me in decisions that needed to be made to support a quality learning environment. Going through it for sure.

Maldini was so good at left back, most people presumed he was left footed... he could drive with that foot, cross with that foot, pass with that foot and score goals with it. But look more closely and he would primarily ball carry with the right and was actually right-footed.
