There’s definitely a cost-benefit element to clinics now. Too many have turned into dog and pony shows. You’ve got to be selective & find ones where you can really narrow your focus, whether that’s your time, your budget, or both.
When I was younger, I’d go to clinics just to go. But what I’ve found to be far more valuable is sitting down with coaches & staffs in smaller settings who are actually willing to share and talk ball.
The irony is, getting those opportunities usually comes down to connections and a lot of those connections start by networking at clinics.
