Astounding to me how many people #onhere looked at Siena playing five guys today as a stunt and didn’t take 11 seconds to realize that three guys were hurt and another ineligible but I digress.

The name “Huerter” carries a lot of weight not only in the Capital Region, but in college basketball. Starting with Tom - a Clifton Park native and four-year member of @SienaMBB - and going right down the line with his four kids, the Huerter’s are a family full of Division I players; most notably @KevinHuerter, who was a Maryland standout and is currently with the Detroit Pistons. But keep an eye out for the youngest member of the family, Jillian, who’s making quite the impact with @StagsWBball. Dropping team-best point totals in both the MAAC Tournament semifinal and championship games, Huerter was instrumental in the Stags capturing a 3rd straight conference title last week, which punched their ticket into March Madness! Tom Huerter has family bragging rights as the only member of the household to win an NCAA Tournament game (he and the Saints upset 3rd-seeded Stanford in ‘89), but Jillian now has some leverage as the only Huerter to make consecutive appearances in the big dance! She’ll be looking to join her dad in the win column this weekend, as she and 11th-seeded Fairfield go up against 6th-seeded Notre Dame in the opening round. @JillianHuerter @ShenGirlsHoops @ShenAthletics @MAACHoops @MAACSports

I am not a fan of conference tournaments. The regular season champion should get the automatic bid. You were the best team all year. Not for 4 days. Change the rule, regular season champs and conf champs get an automatic bid.Don’t penalize a team for being the best team all year.

Absolutely incredible 👏 In his final game with the Czechia National Team, Ondřej Satoria, an electrian by trade, shutout Samurai Japan, the best team in the world, in his 4.2 IP. This is the World Baseball Classic. This is Baseball. ❤️

An emotional Josiah Lake after OSU's loss to Gonzaga, which ended Wayne Tinkle's tenure in Corvallis. Tinkle gave Josiah a DI walk-on spot when others wouldn't. Three seasons later and he was the Beavs starting point guard this year.
