@LEHS_Principal @TeachLeadRepeat Sitting in my office for 30 minutes is not helping the students learning process. Part of it is learning how to handle themselves in tough situations. Talk to student escort them back to class and stay in class to monitor the students behavior.

@TeachLeadRepeat Nah. Adult comforts do not supercede student needs. If the student is ready to return, the adult professional must be ready to receive them. It is my job to make sure both conditions are met as quickly as possible, so that education of the child continues.

Admin, if a teacher sends a student to your office for behavior, don't send them back. No matter how great of a conversation you just had. Don't send them back. Give the teacher the break they need.

Admin, take time to: *Say hello to staff & students in the hall * Check on teachers, especially life events they’re dealing with * Sit in on classes & leave note * Occasionally sub *Show staff you appreciate them * Ask what staff needs to succeed * Encourage * Say Thank you
