Tn promise is a joke and funded by the education lottery. On top of that, there are trust funds, sticking employees, in public high school schools in the state of Tennessee to divert students from better opportunities. TN promise is only for select private and public educators. 👎

Tennessee has a program called "Tennessee promise" it gives free Community College tuition for every resident. Keep in mind there is no state income tax as well. Why doesn’t every state have this?

Another programming tip for Roblox developers just getting started: If your game has more than one Script, you overengineered it. Real programmers keep the whole game in one Script and just scroll really fast. If you keep the whole game in one server script inside Workspace it makes it easier to find everything, no need for folders or modules.

Simply stating that “you have faith in the existence of God” is not a great point or argument without deeper reasoning. Its circular logic that is not useful to any good faith atheist.

Let me put it in a metaphor: being the sort of atheist I am is like going to see the Harlem Globtrotters over and over again because others enjoy it and want me to tag along-except I can’t see it. Everyone else can, but I cannot. Therefore I have an impossible time enjoying such a show. The debate impasse always comes down to “I have faith god exists” which cannot be intellectually debated. That is a *feeling* not an objective fact, and I fundamentally do not understand it. This impasse was also reached with my own mother, who was Roman Catholic.

@CannibalVeggiez @Borge_Baldwin @Templarpilled @PandasAndVidya I would like to state that ultimately Christianity (specifically Catholicism) doesn’t exist primarily for its members to feel something although it can be an effect of practicing the religion. Worshipping God is not something we primarily do for our own benefit.

I don’t understand faith and I feel nothing; I come from a Christian family but I never understood what they felt in church. Growing up in the bible belt, I tried many churches, but found nothing; after a while, the impatience of others with my lack of faith only caused anxiety and several churches basically told me if I was going to be difficult and not convert to not return. So, I didn’t. I have some theories as to why, though they are based in psychology and not the language of belief, which I do not understand.
